21.01.2022 Cemetery Mass This year our Cemetery Mass will be held on Saturday, 21st November at 9.00 am at the Tatura Cemetery. Please bring a chair. It is a custom of our parish to take roses out to the graves for the Cemetery Mass. If you have roses in your garden and would like them to go out to the cemetery, there will be a bucket for you to place them in outside the Church on Friday.

18.01.2022 Today's Reading He is our peace: He has made the two into one Ephesians 2:12-22... Do not forget that you had no Christ and were excluded from membership of Israel, aliens with no part in the covenants with their Promise; you were immersed in this world, without hope and without God. But now in Christ Jesus, you that used to be so far apart from us have been brought very close, by the blood of Christ. For he is the peace between us, and has made the two into one and broken down the barrier which used to keep them apart, actually destroying in his own person the hostility caused by the rules and decrees of the Law. This was to create one single New Man in himself out of the two of them and by restoring peace through the cross, to unite them both in a single Body and reconcile them with God: in his own person he killed the hostility. Later he came to bring the good news of peace, peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near at hand. Through him, both of us have in the one Spirit our way to come to the Father. So you are no longer aliens or foreign visitors: you are citizens like all the saints, and part of God’s household. You are part of a building that has the apostles and prophets for its foundations, and Christ Jesus himself for its main cornerstone. As every structure is aligned on him, all grow into one holy temple in the Lord; and you too, in him, are being built into a house where God lives, in the Spirit.

Mary is making them for her Charity Days for Girls and will be selling them for $7.50 each and donating $2.50 to Sacred Heart. If you would like to purchase some please email mary on [email protected]. They are made with three layers and come in two sizes medium (good for ladies and small men) and large (good for men with a beard) She can also make children sizes if you need them.

15.01.2022 Mother’s Day Prayer Almighty and Loving God, We thank you for the unconditional love of the mothers you have given us, whose love is so wonderful ... and precious that it cannot be measured, whose patience seems to have no end. We also thank you for the expectant mother who carries this growing hope in her life and into our world. Bless her and the living promise of this child and help her to manage the mix of joys, fears and anxieties she may have about the time ahead. For the woman whom You have not blessed with Children. May they enjoy the love and friendship of their family and friends and our community. Bless them with your own special love. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen st our Lord. Amen
