20.01.2022 We can help bushfire affected families. The SACWA Emergency Aid Fund is here to assist. Whilst NSW and Victoria are suffering with unprecedented bushfires, Sout...h Australia has not been spared. The South Australian Country Women’s Association Inc (SACWA) is able to assist those in need as a result of bushfires across SA. If you would like to make a donation, please visit www.sacwa.org.au and follow links to the SACWA Emergency Aid Fund to make your contribution. Donations $2 and over to this fund are tax deductible and all monies will go directly to those families and communities affected by bushfires in SA. All administration costs of the Fund are absorbed by the SACWA, with 100% of your donation going to those in need. With over 110 branches across South Australia, we are aware that some of our members have been directly affected and our hearts go out to them and their families. These devastated communities are going to need all our help for many months to come. Without strong rural communities the whole of South Australia suffers. Remember, everyone needs a helping hand sometimes

17.01.2022 The handicraft display at the SACWA Autumn Fair was a roaring success! Interest in the old celluloid card crafts has surfaced in recent times. The State Handicr...aft Committee would like to put out a call for the Ellison Celluloid Punch, which is required for this craft. Unfortunately Mr Neville Ellison has passed away and the punch is not manufactured at the moment. Another brand is the Maun punch, which is also difficult to get here in Adelaide. So anybody who has the Ellison Celluloid Punch or the Maun punch, and would like to donate them to the State Handicraft Committee, we would be greatly appreciative. They can be delivered to SACWA State Office, 30 Dequetteville Tce, Kent Town #sa_cwa #vintagecrafts #celluloidpunch #grannyskills See more
