21.01.2022 Good morning to everyone. Hope that you are all well and safe. As you can imagine, things have been a little hectic here recently. As most of you know, our darling Lesley is once again fighting a massive battle, with Begs and their sons right by her side. We are continuing to operate the business as usual, with the request that all enquiries/orders are put through the warehouse during our office hours (Mon-Fr 9am-1pm) as Begs has enough on his plate right now. In saying that,... this coming Monday (18th May), the office will be closed until approximately 11.30am, due to personal commitments. I apologise for this, however, I will be available in the office after the said time. We would like to thank everyone for their well wishes and love, Gary and Lesley appreciate every one of them so much. As Covid-19 restrictions ease, we will look at re-scheduling our schools for later in the year, so stay tuned See more

21.01.2022 Please note, as per current conditions and restrictions, all of our schools here at Burrum River Saddlery & Saddle Making School are postponed until further notice.

We are still taking orders and shipping goods out from our little "haven" here in QLD and at present, we have a quantity of our beautiful Australian themed calendars available to send out to anyone who would like one (no charge). The artworks by Almar Zaadstra are colourful bush scenes depicting early Australian days of horse drawn wagons/buggies, droving scenes etc.and have good sized calendar pages to fit in all of your reminders. If you or anyone you know would like to have one, give us a call on 07 4129 0012 Mon-Fri 9am-1pm, email us [email protected] and while you're at it, why not have a bo-peep at our website www,saddleryaustralia.com.au

12.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Posting today hoping for some recommendations. Our clicker press here at the saddlery is out of action at the moment. We have had an electrician look at her, but he had no luck and has suggested that we need someone with electrical hydraulic engineering experience. She is an old Czech machine with MVX9000 AF drives. Would anyone out there have an idea of who might be able to help us? We are located in the Wide Bay Region, so someone local would be awesome

11.01.2022 Hi everyone, Trina here. Just a quick post to let you all know that I will sadly be leaving Burrum River Saddlery & Saddle Making School at the end of September. My replacement Heather is an awesome gal and I have no doubt that you will be in capable hands dealing with her. I would like to thank all of our wonderful customers and friends for the kindness, encouragement and laughs that we have shared in my time here. Even though some of us have only ever spoken on the phone, I... will truly miss each and every one of you. It was a very tough decision for me, but my hubby and I are looking forward to a new chapter in our lives. Begs and Lesley were not just my employers, but cherished friends who made a huge impact. I will still be in close contact with Gary and Heather regularly, albeit from remote Northern Territory. Thank you again to everyone for making my time here fun and memorable. Cheers. Trina See more
