01.01.2022 The winner of our Eurohunter Freedom Lite Helmet is...... Terese A Tomicich! Terese shared with us how she stayed calm and kept a cool head in a riding crisis See her response here:... "I was on a strange new horse when he bolted on a ride around town. We were heading for a busy road with no side roads to steer him down. I had no choice but to ram my feet in the stirrups and pull and saw with all my might. He was a big 16.2 HH solid Appy. It worked. His head came up but just when he started to slow down he began bucking! We were still at a gallop so when I felt myself falling I positioned myself shoulder first, and rolled as soon as I hit the gravel. I sustained a badly skinned elbow, and whacked my head but fortunately the helmet I was wearing did its job and collapsed to take most of the force. I was also wearing a body protector.
