20.01.2022 Do you know October is dwarfism awareness month? If you are new to our page you may not know, that our Sadie has hypochondroplasia a form of dwarfism. We found out of Sadie’s dwarfism when she was around one year old and we begun our journey shortly after she was born and by three months she was well under the expected growth. We don’t have any family history of dwarfism (even though I’m short) and she is a special spontaneous genetic change. We are beyond blessed to this beautiful light in our life and I hope to share with more about dwarfism this month. #dwarfismawarnessmonth #dwarfism

18.01.2022 This is alittle flash back to Sadie when she was almost 2.5 before she became a big sister. With the flash back I thought I would share some dwarfism facts: There are over 200 types of dwarfism, Sadie’s special genetic change is a 1 in 40,000 Dwarfism or short statue effects the cartilage of the long the bones and it’s ability to grow at the same rate of an ‘average’ height person. Sadie & Maggie are currently the same height, but because Maggie’s arms and legs are actually longer than Sadie’s, Maggie can reach things Sadie can’t. #simplefacts #flashback #sadiebabyshoes #dwarfismawareness #dwarfismawarenessmonth
