17.01.2022 The team working hard on street lighting installations for a new residential development.

17.01.2022 SAE Energy working to supply power to a new apartment block consisting of 14 units. A power pole needed to be replaced and a 315KVA transformer was added along with underground 240mm cable to a pillar to supply the units with power.



17.01.2022 Stage 2 of Eastwood Living at Goonellabah in full swing! SAE Energy alongside SEE Civil, are working to deliver power to 20 new lots and 9 street lights. The switching involved removing an existing cable from the pad mounted transformer and installing a new cable over a 290 metre run to power up these new lots. NBN infrastructure including pits and lead ins to individual lots was also part of the scope of works complete. Keep your eyes on our page for Stage 3 updates.

16.01.2022 SAE Energy is a certified Tesla Energy Installer and have completed the design and execution of multiple Tesla Supercharger sites. Pictured here is the supercharger site at The Macadamia Castle in Knockrow, NSW. SAE Energy completed level 1 electrical works and civil works efficiently, creating ease of project management. This project included 750kva pad mount substation, augmentation of 11kva overhead lines, supply and installation of 800amp MSB, civil works including concrete slab, kerb works for the MSB and line marking for all car bays.

15.01.2022 SAE Energy have begun construction at Eastwood Living Stage 2 in Goonellabah in Northern NSW. SAE Energy is working in conjunction with SEE Civil to complete this project. The works consist of over 700 metres of excavation works, 3000+ metres of conduit install, 1000+ metres of cable, multiple street lights & also the installation of the NBN infrastructure. As you can see from the photos the crew have come across some very large pieces of rock!! Scott one of our very experienced excavator operators has done a great job so far in dealing with these large obstacles that have appeared during excavation works.

15.01.2022 The SAE Energy team getting stuck in to standing new street lighting on a recent residential development project.

15.01.2022 SAE Energy have been working alongside SEE Civil, to install underground power to 25 lots in stage 1 of a multi stage subdivision at Eastwood Living, Goonellabah. SAE Energy installed a 315KVA transformer, underground electrical pillars and LED street lighting per design. NBN network pits and house lot feeds were also installed by SAE. 11kv high voltage cable was hauled through a 628 metre conduit run to power the pad mounted sub.

12.01.2022 The recent install of these Tesla EV Chargers at Harwood Hotel involved SAE Energy upgrading power supply to existing overhead supply, installing a pole top transformer, and installing a commercial pillar to supply the main switchboard. The main switchboard and 2 superchargers were installed with 4 car charger bays provided. A streetlight was also added, lighting up the car charging posts at night. #tesla #teslaevcharger #electricvehicle

09.01.2022 During a recent power upgrade to supply power to a new building at Lismore Preschool, a pole transformer was installed due to the 1974 flood level being over 2 metres up the original pole. The flood level sign was reinstated on the new pole to ensure the children from the preschool can continue to use it as a regular discussion point.

07.01.2022 Meet Dan, one of our leading hand’s at SAE Energy. We asked Dan a little bit about himself & why he chooses to work at SAE Energy. Here is what he had to say.... 'Hi, I’m Dan. I’ve been in the electrical industry for almost 10 years now. I have been with SAE Energy for about 12 month and am just about to start my electrical apprenticeship. What I enjoy most about working for SAE Energy is that the company values and promotes self-improvement. This is teamed with ensuring quality workmanship on all our projects, striving to be more efficient, and not to mention the peachy work environment. The SAE Energy management team have given me the opportunity of a promising career and have provided a safe, enjoyable workplace. 06.01.2022 The re-invention of the Kingscliff foreshore right in the heart of the retail and leisure precinct is a significant project that has completely reshaped the bustling coastal township of Kingscliff. This project included NBN communications, internal communications, street lighting, level 2 service connections, switchboards, architectural lighting and low voltage power reticulation.

04.01.2022 SAE Energy has recently begun construction works on site at Willawong Stage 2 late last week, we are completing the required Energex LCC works on behalf of McNab. Installation will include 2 x 750 KVA Padmount transformers and 4 high voltage straight joints, SAE Energy will haul over 750 metres of 400mm Aluminium TRPLX cable & over 200 metres of 240mm low voltage sector cable. We are grateful to have received the opportunity from McNab to complete these works and although we have a very tight program that we need to meet, we are extremely confident of completing these works on time & ensuring a high standard of workmanship is provided.

03.01.2022 SAE Energy worked in conjunction with SEE Civil to significantly improve the traffic flow on one of Byrons Bay’s busiest intersections. The aim of the project was to provide easy access to the Arts & Industrial Estate to many business owners and visitors. SAE Energy were responsible for the location of all... electrical works including the relocation of two Byron overhead 11KV feeders to underground on the Ewingsdale Road. See more

01.01.2022 SAE Energy have completed the electrical reticulation installation of the 86 lot subdivision at Casuarina Town Centre in conjunction with both SEE Civil & Hutchinson Builders to complete these works for Clarence Property. SAE Energy started works on site in late January and the works were completed in Late May. A lot of our staff live in the local Kingscliff/Casuarina area which made this project that little bit more special... Over 4000 metres of cable was hauled over the e...ntire project including high voltage, low voltage & street lighting cable. The project also involved installation & commissioning of 2 x 1000KVA Padmount Transformers 1 x 750KVA Padmount Transformer Over 50 street lights including motion sensors for the private pathway lights Over 50 low voltage pillars Multiple high voltage joints All trenches had to include level 1 compaction testing before footpaths could be constructed and over 60 NBN pits were installed.
