21.01.2022 Martin Pakula.. Why can’t dermal and beauty therapists not perform treatments on the face, while other allied health professionals and industries can? Why is there such inconsistency amongst professional industries? Why is it that the beauty and aesthetic industries, have had so much educational training surrounding infection control, have the highest of safety standards and ZERO transmission across Australia, yet still be singled out in Victoria by a male dominated politic...al party? What will it take to get women in small business back on its feet? Was the 2 suicides of clinic owners this morning, not enough? Enough is enough - the government needs to understand how we operate and make appropriate decisions based on evidence, not on what they think is fluff and puff beauty therapy Thank you Matt Bach MP for understanding and advocating for the Beauty Industry!!!
