25.01.2022 Name: DUSTY (ED0203) Sex: Male Breed: Kelpie/Rottweiler Age: 4 years 1 month... Meet Dusty! This easy going, friendly boy came to SAFE Esperance as an owner surrender. He is very friendly with all people but will bark at those he doesnt know at home until introduced. Dusty is also very friendly with all dogs and loves to play or chill with them he will avoid aggressive/pushy dogs. He especially loves fetching his ball and being a high energy dog needs regular walks/runs every day to keep him healthy and happy. Dusty is currently being fostered with two other dogs and would be happy to live with another friendly dog as long as his exercise needs are met. Dusty is very smart and learns quickly, he walks quietly on the lead and is housetrained. Dusty has been introduced to chickens, alpacas, sheep and horses and has been well-behaved around them. He has spent time on a farm and was very interested in watching the working dogs and his carer feels that with training he could enjoy working on a small holding. He is not good with cats or rabbits and will chase if given the chance. Dusty is not a destructive boy and does not dig or chew. He has learned sit, down, stay and come. Dusty loves to use his brain so would enjoy a home where he is given the opportunity to learn. He is a very athletic and fit dog and enjoys activities such as being your running companion, swimming, bush walks, trail rides and possibly agility. Dustys sweet nature means that he bonds well to a person and really wants to please. His foster carer has said that watching him learn that someone cares about him has been a most endearing trait about him. Dustys perfect home would be one where he can bond to, and spend time with his humans. Daily exercise and activity is a must for him and throwing his ball is the cream on the cake! Dusty would need a good sized yard or property. Dusty could live with another dog he has not lived with children and we would recommend that he goes to an adult home. Dusty would need to have an inside life with his family he loves to be with you and to sleep inside at night. Dustys adoption fee includes desexing, vaccination, microchip and worming/flea treatments. If you feel that Dusty is the perfect fit for your family, please submit an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

24.01.2022 Name: CONNIE (TAG: EC0536) Sex: Female Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 10 months... Hi Im Connie! I came to SAFE Esperance as an owner surrender with a leg injury which had got infected. Im all recovered now (although I have a limp) and am looking for my perfect home. Im a bit of a shy girl with people initially, so a patient new owner is a must have for me. When I trust you I can be picked up and held curled up in your arms Im really such a sweetie. Im currently fostered with dogs but dont really interact with them at all. I do like other friendly cats though! I love my food and am not too fussy with what I eat. I love to play. Laser lights are my favourite, closely followed by balls and toy mice. I also have a ball that dispenses treats that keeps me busy each day. Im litter trained and will need a high sided tray as I do tend to kick the litter around a bit! My ideal home will be a quiet home where Ill be allowed to flourish on my own terms. Due to my previous leg injury I will need to be an indoor only cat, although a secure outdoor enclosure would also be great for me. If you think you can provide the perfect home for me, please fill out an adoption enquiry and SAFE Esperance will be in touch soon! https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

22.01.2022 Name: BLACKIE (ED0205) Sex: Male, Rottweiler/Kelpie Age: 3 years 3 months Meet Blackie!... This friendly, affectionate boy came to us as an owner surrender and is now ready to find the perfect home. Blackie is friendly with people and other dogs that he meets. He has lived with children and is very gentle with them. He would be suited to children over 5 to 6 years of age he can tend to jump up with excitement. He will not be suited to a home with cats and small animals. He knows a few commands will sit and shake and walks quietly on the lead. Hes a bright boy so training should be a breeze with him. His recall and jumping up need work so owners who are prepared to do some ongoing training would be a must. Blackie loves to go on walks and has a favourite bone that he carries around with him. He rarely barks. Hes a medium to high energy boy who will need a good walk at least once a day to keep him happy and healthy. Blackie has been used to having company through the day and gets lonely if left for long periods so would suit a home where someone is home for a good part of the day or can take him to work for at least part of the day.. The perfect home for Blackie will have a good-sized yard for him to burn off energy. He will need a family that can give him the time, attention and love that he so deserves. Blackie will be happy if he is part of the family unit and is involved in what the family do. He also needs to have a life inside the home and be able to sleep inside at night. If Blackie sounds like the boy for you, please fill out an enquiry and well be in touch soon! https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

21.01.2022 Molly and Thomas are a bonded pair and what an absolutely stunning pair they are . Heres a little bit about Molly. Name: MOLLY (TAG: EC0546) Sex: Female... Breed: Ragdoll Age: 8 years 4 months Hi! My name is Molly and I come with a heap of attitude but Im really a total sweetie! My partner Thomas (Tom Tom) and I are a bonded pair so will need to go to a new home together. Hes a little bit shy so I stand up for both of us! Im a small fluffy female ragdoll with big hypnotic blue eyes. Thomas is also a ragdoll. Hes a big ball of fluff and youd think hes a tough boy judging by the size of him but instead hes a big softy, who gets quite chatty when he gets to know you. We both love to be brushed/stroked and will lap up lots of cuddles. We like to be in the same room as you and will follow you around for company. We love nothing better (other than food!) than to sun ourselves on window ledges lazing our days away. For our protection we are inside only cats and are completely litter trained. We can get sensitive tummies now and again so we both are on Hills Science Diet sensitive stomach & skin dry food from the pet Shop and wet food Felix pouches (2) each, or we can share a can of Whiskas (just the mince tins as we like the gravy). Playtime has us jumping on our mat and scooting it across the tiles scattering our toys in all directions. We love to chase string or ribbon too. We love primary school age children but not so much little ones as we shy away from rough handling and loud noises. Our ideal home will be a quiet household with no other animals, where we can feel safe and secure. Regular grooming will be needed to keep our coats healthy. We would love a secure outside enclosure, but were also happy to be indoor only cats. If we sound like the perfect pair of felines for you, please fill out an adoption enquiry and SAFE Esperance will contact you soon. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

19.01.2022 This beautiful boy is ready for adoption with SAFE ESPERANCE. Name: CALLUM (TAG: ED0215) Sex: Male Breed: American Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed... Age: 5 years 3 months Profile: This very affectionate boy came to SAFE Esperance from the pound and is now ready to find the perfect home. Callum loves everyone he meets, hes a very friendly, obedient dog. He is good with other dogs and although he hasnt been cat tested, information received is that he has lived with cats, so a home with cats may be possible. He walks well on the lead and loves his walks and going for car rides to explore new places. He knows a few commands already and is working on a couple more. Hes a bright boy and picks things up fairly quickly. Callum is housetrained and rarely barks. He didnt particularly like water when he first came to us but is getting braver and he now happily paddles in the ocean. He loves to play with his tug rope and then will happily laze in the sun. He also loves to devour raw bones as often as he can! He is a very agile dog and will jump a fence to find his human if left alone for too long. High, secure fencing is therefore a must, although these instances have been happening less often as he gets used to his current home. The ideal home for Callum will be one where hes allowed inside to interact and be part of the family. He laps up affection from humans and would not cope with being left outside. He needs lots of exercise, at least 2 walks a day, to keep him happy and healthy. A family where someone is home for a good part of the day would be great for him as he is a very loving and devoted boy. If Callum sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please fill in an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch soon. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

18.01.2022 Name: Joy EDO 210 Sex: Female Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mixed Breed Age: 17 Weeks... This sweet pup came to SAFE Esperance with her four siblings as an owner surrender. She has flourished in foster care and is now ready to take the next step and find a home of her own. Joy is very affectionate and absolutely loves her cuddles. She will wedge herself against you when you are sitting on the couch she just cant get close enough. If there isnt room on the couch she will lie across her carers feet either way she has to be touching you. Joy is the most confident of the pups and is very protective of her carer. If the other siblings are being annoying around her carers legs Joy will shoo them away. Joy loves her food and so training will be a breeze. She is a bright girl and will need continued training in her new home puppy school is a must. Joys toilet training is coming along very well. She is being fostered with siblings Pippa and Arlo and two resident adult dogs so is learning her canine Ps and Qs. All the siblings get on very well and have socialised well with other pups that they have met. The ideal home for Joy would have a decent sized, secure yard for her to exercise in. She could live with another dog but would be happy as an only pet as she will form a close bond with her owner and socialising her outside the home will be very important for her. Her new family will need to spend plenty of time with her, especially in those first few months, to ensure that she reaches her full potential. She also needs to be able to sleep inside at night. Joys adoption fee includes desexing when shes old enough, vaccinations, microchip and worm/flea treatments. If Joy sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please submit an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

17.01.2022 These puppies grow so quickly, here are some updated pics of Lenny. The only trouble is deciding which pics of him to put on. They are all so gorgeous . Heres a little bit about Lenny : Name: LENNY (ED0209)... Sex: Male Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mixed Breed Age: 17 weeks **Before applying, please remember that adopting a puppy into your home is a huge commitment, and very demanding of your time. Puppies require daily exercise, positive socialisation with other dogs/puppies, grooming, training and playtime. When applying to adopt, please consider your working hours, holidays, and how busy your personal life is. Puppies will need someone who is home for most of the day with regular focused input, especially in those first few months after adoption** This happy and laid back pup came to SAFE Esperance with his four siblings as an owner surrender. He has flourished in foster care and is now ready to take the next step and find a home of his own. Lenny is a typical pup who is always very excited to meet new people. As hes still a youngster he will need extensive training in his new home puppy school with continued training is a must. His toilet training is coming along very well. He is an energetic puppy, who has been fostered with his sister Mia and an older Labrador and really enjoys playing with other canines and cuddling up close when tired. Lenny loves cuddle time with his human and snuggling in your lap a really affectionate boy. Lenny also loves to play tug o war and running around the garden exploring. The ideal home for Lenny would have a decent sized, secure yard for him to exercise in. He would be happy to have another dog in the home to play with or at the very least, will need to be taken out to meet and socialise with other dogs very regularly. His new family will need to spend plenty of time with him, especially in those first few months, to ensure that he reaches his full potential. He also needs to have access to the home and be able to sleep inside at night. Lennys adoption fee includes desexing when hes old enough, vaccinations, microchip and worm/flea treatments. 14.01.2022 Name: Arlo EDO 208 Sex: Male Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mixed Breed Age: 15 weeks... This beautiful pup came to SAFE Esperance with his four siblings as an owner surrender. He has flourished in foster care and is now ready to take the next step and find a home of his own. Arlo is very confident pup around the adult resident dogs in the home but is an absolute sook with his humans. He is very affectionate and a really laid back boy. He adores his cuddles and is not one for a lot of fuss and bother as long as he gets his quota of love Arlo likes an easy, simple life. He loves other dogs and mixes in well he is food motivated and so will be a joy to train, puppy school being a must. Arlo is also a bright boy is responsive to his human and focused for a young lad. Arlos toilet training is coming along very well. He is being fostered with siblings Pippa and Joy, and with the two resident adult dogs is learning his canine Ps and Qs. All the siblings get on very well and have socialised well with other pups that they have met. The ideal home for Arlo would have a decent sized, secure yard for him to exercise in. 14.01.2022 More great news with the adoptions of these two beauties. Good luck in your new homes Joy and Callum .

14.01.2022 Name: Dave (ED0202) Sex: Male Age: 2 Years 7 Months Breed: Border Collie/Staffordshire Bull Terrier... Meet Dave! This easy going, affectionate boy came to SAFE Esperance as an owner surrender and is now looking for the perfect home. Dave is friendly towards pretty much everyone he meets. He loves to play so would suit a family environment. Hes very well mannered around other dogs. He shows a high interest in cats, birds and rabbits, so we dont recommend a home with cats or small animals. He needs to learn some manners when walking on the lead as he does tend to pull and jump up. He is improving however, and his foster carer has been using a Halti on him which is working well. He is housetrained and knows some commands. He barks at strange noises and when someone is at the door. We would recommend a home where he is not given access to a front garden as he does bark at passing foot traffic. Dave is a fairly energetic boy who will need daily walks to keep him happy and healthy. He gets spells of Zoomies and will then chill out afterwards. He loves to play and his favourite games are throw and tug of war, although he still needs to learn how to give back his stick! He does acrobatics when playing and we feel he would do well in agility training. Hes a great companion for walks and runs and gets very excited when he hears the work walk. He also loves cuddles and affection, but he isnt pushy. When listening to his human he will tilt his head, and he is very responsive to the mood of his human. Dave is on a good quality grain-free diet as he gets thrush and an itchy rash with other foods. The ideal home for Dave will be with someone who wants a best friend and is home for most of the day. Hes incredibly loyal and thrives on affection and company. He will not be suited as an outside dog. He does need a good sized yard to run around, and needs to be able to sleep inside near to his person. A home with another friendly dog would also suit him. If Dave sounds like the boy for you, please fill in an adoption query and we will be in touch soon. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

08.01.2022 Name: Lenny ED0 209 Sex: Male Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback/Mixed Breed Age: 15 weeks ... This happy and laid back pup came to SAFE Esperance with his four siblings as an owner surrender. If Lenny sounds like the perfect fit for your family, please submit an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

07.01.2022 Name: INDIANA (EC0543) Sex: Female Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 1 Year 0 months Desexed: Yes ... Meet dear little Indiana! Indiana came to SAFE Esperance as a small kitten with her siblings some had cat flu, so were brought to SAFE Esperance for care and rehoming. Indiana is a little shy to begin with when meeting new people but if allowed to settle she is a very affectionate and loving kitten, it just takes her a little time and her beautiful personality shines through. She has the most gorgeous purr and loves to be stroked and cuddled, and given time will lie up close to you or on your lap. Indiana has always shared her space with other siblings and kitten friends and could live with another cat with careful and sensitive introduction. Indiana is playful and will play with her toys especially ping pong balls to chase or bouncy balls. Due to her start Indiana still has slightly runny eyes and may occasionally need her eyes gently wiped but this does not affect her health or quality of life. Indianas ideal home would be gentle and filled with affection she will then repay you with lots of purrs and smooches. She could live with older children who understand how to handle a slightly shy kitten. Due to the current Cat Laws in WA, SAFE asks that people keep their rescued cat permanently indoors or with access to a safe cat run. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service

02.01.2022 Name: Dusty EDO 203 Sex: Male Breed: Kelpie/Rottweiler Age: 4 Years 1 Month Desexed: Yes ... Dusty would need to sleep inside at night. Dustys adoption fee includes desexing, vaccination, microchip and worming/flea treatments. If you feel that Dusty is the perfect fit for your family, please submit an adoption enquiry and we will be in touch. https://aus01a.sheltermanager.com/service
