21.01.2022 Book 2 in the Safe Haven series is nearing completion! Prominent New York based blogger Eric Kanarakis of TheCud.com recently wrote a piece on Safe Haven. Thanks Evan! http://thecud.com/live/content/ezy-reading-80

21.01.2022 This homestead is a little like Safe Haven with the grassy lawn and surrounds. See those helicopters? They're there to round up cattle! While Safe Haven is a small boutique property with 50 head of cattle, there are huge properties in the Australian Outback. Anna Creek Station in South Australia is the world's biggest at around 6 million acres! So everything isn't always bigger in Texas :)

21.01.2022 Today in Australia, April 25, marks the 99th anniversary of the event that started our military's strongest tradition - ANZAC, Australia and New Zealand Army Corp. During WWI ANZACs, under British command, were landed at Gallipoli the wrong beach in Turkey. It was a beach a bit like Omaha beach in Normandy except worse. The Aussies gained ground and dug in, and the term 'Digger' came into use as slang for an Australian soldier. There was no ANZAC victory at Gallipoli, it was ...a hard fight followed by a retreat but it set the stage for Aussie's in battle to fight hard against all odds and to stand with their mates. From this defeat, Aussie Diggers now have a roll call of victories that have changed the course of wars and history, from Villers-Bretonneux where they were praised for beating a force 10 times their number, to Tobruk Africa where Nazi Germany was given its first defeat of WWII, to Long Tan Vietnam where a North Vietnamese Army force estimated at greater than 10 times the number of Aussies retreated, to working with our US Allies in deep penetration in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, to acknowledge and remember the sacrifice we say 'Lest we forget'. See more
