09.01.2022 To all our Safe House Friends! We have to share some good news and bad news. Bad news first so we can finish on a HIGH!!! Unfortunately due to a significant rent rise we will have to relocate SafeHouse Gluten Free Cafe. The doors will close at 217 Commercial Road, South Yarra on the 20th of March 2015. ... We want to express our gratitude for all your support and for making Safe House such a success. It has been so rewarding to be able to share our stories, recipes and to provide an environment that is safe for all Coeliacs to wine and dine! Thank you! THE GOOD NEWS!!!! We will continue to bake our breads, muffins, pizza bases and banana bread to order even after the store has closed! We will also offer a catering service. You can continue to place your orders either through Facebook or you can contact Shahama. We can deliver or organise a place for pick up We are working really hard to secure another local, accessible store that will enable us to come back with more of our yummy GF desserts, our freshly baked in-house breads and we will also introduce a home made take away Gluten Free dinner selection. Please stay tuned for updates on market stalls and stores that will stock Safe House products. Thank you again for making our dream a reality! 01.01.2022 Safe House has been open for 4 weeks now!! It's been so rewarding meeting all our beautiful customers and sharing the excitement with them. The look on their faces is always priceless when they realise they can order ANYTHING off the menu ;) ... All our breads, pizza bases, muffins, pita, fruit loaf and our delish banana bread is all baked daily IN HOUSE. Shahama is working on a gluten free Brioche recipe. It's almost ready ;) Ps.
