24.01.2022 Chatting with Nancy the other day to see how she's going and how she's getting exercise. She said; ''Keeping myself busy with sewing, tidying the garden and baking. Go jogging with the dog in the park nearby to keep fit. Missing tennis a lot.... Hope we all can get together soon. Keep safe and take care. Nancy'' She also sent a recipe which we tried last night. Delicious! Easy too. NANCYS MALAYSIAN CHICKEN CURRY RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 2.2 Kg Chicken pieces, chopped into medium size pieces 2/3 cup (80g) mild Malaysian curry powder 2/3 cup (160ml) water 7 cloves garlic crushed 5 green shallots finely chopped 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger 1/3 cup (80g) vegetable oil 1 litre coconut milk 3 (600g) potatoes peeled and chopped 2 (300g) medium onions sliced 5 green shallots extra METHOD: 1. Blend curry powder, water, garlic, shallots and ginger to smooth. Combine curry mix and chicken pieces in a bowl and refrigerate for 30mins. 2. Heat oil in pan, add marinated chicken pieces cooking for approx. 10mins or until browned and fragrant 3. Add Coconut milk, potatoes, onions and simmer uncovered for 20mins or until potatoes are tender. Stir in extra shallots. Serves 4 6 people We'd love to put some more story's on our Facebook page. 22.01.2022 Safety Bay Tennis Club Bushfire Fundraiser Day

22.01.2022 Dear members, We regret to have to let you know that we will not be running Social Tennis for the foreseeable future due to the threat of Coronavirus. The requirements for keeping social tennis running are overwhelming and in many cases unachievable.... The Clubhouse and Toilets will be closed and not for use. The courts will still be available for you to use at this stage on a casual basis, with restrictions. There will also be a cleaning regime for players to complete. AGM; this was scheduled for the 18th of April 2020, has been postponed till Sunday the 12th of July at 12.00 noon at the club.
