12.01.2022 Hi everyone, just a quick update on classes now that Townsville is going into a lock down at 6pm tonight. We have decided that the safest choice for us to make is to postpone all training until next week. We are very sorry to all those who have booked training and will we be contacting all students by end of business day today to reschedule courses. We will be keeping a close eye on the live updates from the goverment and we will make any other decisions necessary to keep all staff and students safe. We will still be contactable via phone and email. Stay safe and please contact us if you have any questions or concerns

05.01.2022 Did you know that only half of Australians know how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)! Greg Page, the original yellow Wiggle, had a cardiac arrest ...and received lifesaving CPR! The Australian Resuscitation Council needs your help to achieve our goal to have ALL Australians know how to respond to someone who has had a cardiac arrest. This year we are running a competition in which you will not only learn but also teach CPR! Four Winners will receive a prize of a $500 voucher to a sporting goods store. Please see the attached flyer which includes entry details and terms and conditions. Register and attend Greg Page’s online Heart of Neighbourhood CPR training class on the 19th of September at 7pm AEST and help set a world record! : https://go.nextdoor.com/heartoftheneighbourhood The Video competition opens on 20 September and is via the link in the flyer.

02.01.2022 A two-metre Elegant Sea Snake has made international headlines after being spotted on a Central Queensland beach at the weekend. A local tried to help it out by... throwing it back into the ocean, but wildlife experts say the creatures usually beach themselves when they're injured, meaning it could likely wash ashore again.
