07.01.2022 A couple of days ago this Fall Girl (Sharon) had a fall Of all places in my sewing room and off a chair No I was not standing on said chair but sitting.... My chair is quite comfortable and adjustable. So looking at the picture I have added, I can hear you asking - how can I fall off. After all there are arm rests to keep me in. As I leaned to the left to grab something off the shelf I am surprised to find my self on the floor. Now my sewing room is not exactly in a tidy state and landing in close proximity to a set of draws I am thankful there was no blood involved. My shoulder did bear the brunt of the fall though. In hind site I should have taken a photo of the "broken" chair before it was fixed by my husband. Over time it appears that the welding on the underneath became fatigued and gave way at the moment I lent to get something off the shelf - which I might add I did not retrieve and really can't remember what I was reaching for. This is a reminder that all of a sudden you can find yourself on the floor and have no idea it was about to happen. I was able to gather my thoughts and pick myself up easily. There are many who have falls with not so good outcomes. Take care and check your equipment on a regular basis to make sure it remains in good working order.
