20.01.2022 A busy weekend for Saffron Stables at Clarendon Winter Festival last weekend: SPH Santarina competed in the open Preliminary tests at only her second competition ever! Preliminary 1.2: 1st place with 77.019% (and even received an 80% from the C judge!) Preliminary 1.3: 1st place with 71.304% SPH Santarina was crowned Open Preliminary Champion... SPH Sonata hit placed 5th in the Inter2 with 66.930% with his rider Rodney Martin . Sonata also competed in his very first Grand Prix finishing 7th with 63.100%! 14.01.2022 The sun was out and shining yesterday at the Australian Dressage Championships, a great day had by all. We had two of our young horses competing in the Novice 2.2 and 2.3 including Breitley who is pictured. This was her first time at SIEC and we could not be more proud of her with scores of 68.104% and 68.762%. Our other superstar mare SPH Renaissance has two great consistent scores placing 2nd in both classes with scores of 72.953% and 71.839%.

13.01.2022 Rodney giving SPH Renaissance a pat after their dressage test earlier today. Yesterday Bella won the 6 year old round 1 class, we are still waiting for the results from round 2. We hope everyone is having an enjoyable SYDNEY CDI - International Dressage Event so far.

12.01.2022 Hi, my name is Shorty and I was caught galloping along Cattai Ridge Road, Glenorie on the 12/7/18.... Since then I have moved in to Denise Rogan Dressage, cau...sed plenty of chaos, but have also made everyone fall in love with me - of course ....I have lived it up for nearly three weeks now with Harrys Choice Feed and my HiForm supplements, got myself a nice warm rug, had my master pedicure, had warm soapy baths, soft brushing sessions and little exercise sessions in the house yard....I am a little worried that if I stay longer though the Antares Dressage Saddle may come out and the LeMieux bandages be put on ......whilst I have loved every minute - I am still wondering where my family are? Does anyone know where I actually live? 11.01.2022 Beautiful Bella has done it again! Our super mare SPH Renaissance has come home as the 6 year old young horse champion from PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars! While we wait for the professional images to arrive, here is an image of all 3 young horse champions. Aren't they all just stunning! We also had our imported mare Breitley competing in the huge 6 year old class, coming home with 5th place. A beautiful chestnut mare, Breitley follows the same lines as our other successful chestnut mare Weekend Feeling.

10.01.2022 SOLD Saffron Stables is selling for a client: Andre... Andre is a warmblood gelding bred by the Victorian police. He is 12 years old and an absolute gentleman. Andre is training Preliminary/Novice dressage, last competing in June, where he received first place with 68,63% He has three above average paces and is always working hard trying to please his rider. Andre has also done some jumping and recently participated in an endurance competition. He is an absolute gentleman to handle, easy to shoe and float and has no vices. 09.01.2022 This morning I visited Saffron Stables to capture images of their newest arrival, SPH Rhapsody. She is such a character and LOVES people, which made it hard to photographer her when her nose was always in my face! But, who can resist foal cuddles.

09.01.2022 We are so incredibly proud of our Bella (SPH Renaissance). Unfortunately we missed out on the Young Horse Champion trifecta at SYDNEY CDI - International Dressage Event and would like to congratulate Brett Parbery : Parbery Performance Horses and Yarramee Serendipity on winning the 6 year old champion. Bella has previously won the 4 year old and 5 year old champion at Sydney CDI. She was 1st in both round one and two of the 6 year old champion and was awarded a total score of 8.09 in the final. Onwards and upwards with our beautiful bay mare.

03.01.2022 Better late than never, but here is our first result from DJWTS. Our beautiful bay mare SPH Renaissance is currently first in the 6 year old young horse championship! With Rodney Martin in the saddle, they scored 83.6%. We cannot wait for round two!
