19.01.2022 I would like to introduce about SAGAYA. Recently some of customers are asking why the restaurant is named "SAGAYA" There is a small family business which is soy sauce company in Japan. Now it's run by 4th generation in Kagoshima. ... The company's name is Kanetoku and the shop is called SAGAYA. The first owner who were my great grandparents came from Saga prefecture and they got started the business in 1910. They named the shop "SAGAYA" (SAGA is the name of place and YA means Shop ). Our SAGAYA is named after their SAGAYA that I hope our restaurant could go for long years as another one. And also we use their products for dressing , sashimi, and tempura sauce. The Sagaya's soy is not salty as general soys. It has more sweetness which is really tasty for Sashimi, dressing, sauce or for cooking.
