25.01.2022 How can we keep receiving the physical and emotional benefits of gardening in our own homes as we age? When the mind is willing but the body not so much, it takes community.
25.01.2022 Can you help for a few hours? The SAGE Community Garden at St Johns Parish in Page St Moruya needs a bit of maintenance so we’re calling out for volunteers. You’ll be helping top up soil in the wicking beds, weeding, general maintenance and planting summer veg and herbs. Some of the beds have now been leased out to people who lost property in last summer’s bushfires. The working bee is on Monday 14 December from 8am to 9.30am. Only 1&1/2 hours! ... If you can help, please get in touch with Veggies for All Coordinator Kathryn Maxwell by email to [email protected] or phone 0467 558 645. Thanks!

22.01.2022 Did you know....? As well as the wonderful Tuesday SAGE Farmers Market in Moruya, SAGE also manages an e-market for online ordering and quick pick ups. Heres a dozen reasons to use the SAGE e-market. Shop now at https://sagefarmersmarket.org.au/e-mark...et/ The e-Market opens at 12noon every Friday. You can sign up for a reminder email. 09.01.2022 SAGE exists to develop food security in our community and support a local fair food system. Reading this article strengthens our commitment! https://www.theguardian.com//energised-by-disruption-2020- You couldnt miss the weeks of empty supermarket shelves, stripped of staple items including pasta, rice and flour. But unless you were paying attention you may have missed the short, sharp political storm about whether Australias food security was in danger.
08.01.2022 The SAGE volunteer management committee crew is definitely a ‘hands-on’ kinda group. Check out SAGE President Mark Barraclough working on a water pump at our @stepping.stone.farm_sage yesterday.
