23.01.2022 I’ve been sick for a few weeks and my children have been too, on and off. It’s amounted to about 3 weeks at home and very minimal work being done. I’m finally back in the office and Pepper is super excited to be here too. Although she’s too excited and has been an absolute nuisance. Meaning I’m still not getting any work done...

21.01.2022 That's fair, right? Yes, today's my birthday and it's looking rather different than normal. I'm helping my girls with their school work at home, I'm attending a conference via Zoom, we won't be going out to dinner and my present apparently hasn't been delivered. But I know it's all for a good reason and we're protecting the more vulnerable in our society. Plus, I know I have it pretty good, so I'm won't whinge. ... Ok, maybe just a little bit ;)

20.01.2022 Hi there! you may notice the name is a little different but it’s still me! Still Cassie, with the crazy hair, but I’m moving away from the virtual admin and focusing on social media strategy and management. This is where my focus has been for awhile now so it makes sense to make the change. Of course, I’m too eager and I haven’t even finished the website yet but I was just too excited to get my new branding out there!!

16.01.2022 Am the only one? Every week has seemed extra long, but I'm in struggle town this week. I recognise I have a lot of privilege, and with everything happening in the world at the moment, I really don't have it that bad. But every day feels like an uphill battle. Through mud.

16.01.2022 Some evenings I have the intern helping me with my community management clients. She’s actually really good at it. Normally she mans the phone and reads out the Instagram names while I pop them in the spreadsheet. Tonight we swapped just so I could see how she did. She wasn’t quite as fast as me but not by much! I love involving her in my work, it gives her an idea of what I do and what it all involves. Do you involve your kids?

10.01.2022 So, yes, I did a little thing. I went and got myself a full-time job with the amazing The Digital Picnic! As of next week, I will be their full-time (remote) Community Manager! To say I'm excited about this is an absolute understatement. TDP has been my goal company from the minute they started. I've been friends with Cherie before she started the company (back in the good ol' blogging days when we'd chat on Twitter) and she is absolutely who I want to be when I grow up. I'v...e been contracting to the team as an after-hours engagement officer for over a year now and they have been amazing to work with, so I'm so excited to work with them even more now. Current clients, don't stress, I will still be looking after your accounts! I just won't be taking on any new accounts. Did I mention I am excited?! :D

I’ve watched webinars, attended the @hancockcreative #unite2020 online conference and am currently attending the online summit Ready Set Action put together by the amazing @youroneandonly_au. My mind is swimming with knowledge and inspiration.
