19.01.2022 When Someone has been in an abusive relationship, and or with a abusive narcissist personality type - it can take months even years to recover, repair and heal from it all - heal from the trauma, the shame, the rage, the betrayal, the grief. After recently having to literally run away from a person I so deeply dearly loved and had hoped and prayed for many years and so wanted him to change and seek help for his behaviour towards me. The rawness of the healing journey bega...n. It can bring you to your knees in pain, despair, angish and the colloidal damage of it all can be excruciating as you endeavour to not only accept your part in this additive relationship but to deeply look and address each broken shattered piece and aspect of yourself that needs to be repaired. This is not about fixing, its about acknowledgement, loving, compassion and forgiveness for yourself and all the places that have been hurt and are in suffering. To walk away from someone you deeply love and care about - who is clearly in pain themselves and denial of their pain and just wants to project their pain anger resentment, blame out on you - the one person that loved them the most, takes incredible enormous strength, courage and fortitude. Strength not only just to stay away but to heal, restore, seek help and bring all parts and aspects of yourself into wholeness.To those who have been through this and or still are journeying though the enormity troughs and waves of it all.
