I'm also very excited to be working with a great staffing team at Hockey SA, Leah as the Assistant Coach in what looks like a talented, young crop of athletes. Hugh’s top sporting achievements are: - Being part of the Canadian men's staff to beat Ireland in a shoot-out and qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Performance Analyst of the team when winning FIH Hockey Series in Malaysia in 2019. - Captaining Adelaide PL Men in the 2015 premiership - In 2018 coaching the Adelaide PLW to their first grand final appearance in 7 years

09.01.2022 Burnside Hockey Club is seeking applications for a number of their senior teams in 2021. Coaches are needed for the Metro 1 Women and Metro 1 Men. The applican...ts would ideally need to have at least a Level 1 qualification and have the ambition and drive to lead and deliver a dynamic coaching program for our senior players and be able to work with the Premier League coaches. The Metro 1 Men played in finals in 2020 and the Metro 1 Women finished outside the top 6. Both teams are made up of predominantly young players and we see these teams as very much developmental squads. The Metro 1 coaches will be responsible for all training and competition commitments with their squads as well as working closely with the Premier League coaches. They will report to the Hockey Director. A remuneration package will be provided in line with the applicant’s experience and qualifications. Essential Criteria Previous experience as a coach A minimum of a Community Coach Accreditation Working with Children Check Communication and planning skills Access to phone and internet Desirable Criteria Level 1 Coach Accreditation (or above) Good working knowledge of Hockey SA rules and policies Appointment Terms and Time Commitment Required The position is required from January 2021 to the end of September 2021 How to Apply Email your expression of interest to [email protected] For further information please contact Jeff Dry - Hockey Director on 0408 254 489.
