23.01.2022 Some our latest TripAdisor reviews - Thanks to our guests! Fantastic intro to sailing 5 of 5 stars... Reviewed 21 February 2015 NEW We enjoyed a perfect 3 hr sailing afternoon on the Broadwater with Terry giving us a very thorough lesson . After learning the ropes ( sheets) we were off out to the open waters. We all had a turn at the Helm and all had a go at a tack. According to Terry we all passed and captained the vessel very well. A very professional and well organised activity. Would recommend as worth every cent..........Felt very safe Thanks Terry Visited February 2015 A magical afternoon out on the water! 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 February 2015 NEW Thank you Terry for such a wonderful afternoon out on your lovely little yacht ..... My mother is keen to it all again.. you were a very good teacher, and she might take you up on your job offer! I think she got the hang of the helm quite quickly ! Young Maddie soon lost her fear of going out on the water and the anticipation of sea sickness !! It was such a lovely smooth ride, so I'm sure she'll do it again ! We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience - we'll be back for sure ! Thanks again. :) Visited February 2015

04.01.2022 Ahoy Sailors, these guys recently did a charter with us in the Broadwater, Paul has a Catalina 32 in the US but feel boat sick while here on holidays so he rounded up some friends and we did a twilight sail. He has a interesting video link of a recent sailing trip in the Bahamas. Details below Hi Terry,... thanks for a great afternoon out a month or so ago. I've attached a pic of our route, logged as my my gps, plus a pic of the day. You might recall that I was the happy owner of a catalina 320 for five years, and thought you might appreciate seeing how our mighty little vessels go in the open water. In the case of my last voyage, it was crossing the caribbean, via the bermuda triangle. Here's a link to a short movie we made on the way back to the USA, alas to deliver our boat to the brokers for sale :-( The trip was a blast though! Video is pretty highly compressed, but at least it's easy to stream. http://vimeo.com/79452114 Password is; la bella vita (thats all lower case, with a space between the three letters) cheers Paul

03.01.2022 Barbaro sailed our boat for 1.5 hours unassisted on the way back to the harbour Katarina Moutin assisted

02.01.2022 Some of our latest feed back from TripAdvisor Learn to Sail Experience - Awesome 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2014 NEW What a fabulous day on the water! Skipper Terry welcomed us as if we were old friends and set about teaching us the fundamentals of sailing and safety. Whilst covering the basics Terry also tailored our instruction to suit our specific needs. After an afternoon of hands on experience we ended the day feeling far more confident than the four novices who... stepped aboard earlier in the day. I would highly recommend this learn to sail experience to anyone who was interested in preparing for a bare boat experience. It exceeded our expectations! 01.01.2022 Stella Maris II was due for new rigging so for the first time since she was new (2006) we had to replace the stainless steel wires that hold up the mast. Here's how it's done using the giant fork lift at runaway bay marina. In time lapse of course! https://youtu.be/5ssClOwgQqE
