17.01.2022 Another great day. We spent the morning doing home work stuff (Boring) After a nice walk in the town and a Valentine’s Day brekky at a nice Cafe. Then we cleaned ourselves up and headed over to the Living Boat trust open day. Very interesting and great shipwrights skills on display and a very friendly gathering of people. The wind was in the direction for us to have a nice run back to Cygnet. So off we went. Here I was thinking we can relax and have a glass of wine and let th...e wind carry us back. But as it does when your sailing the wind swung around and became a head wind and strong (30 knots)So we had to Tack home (Zig Zag) It was great. Sal and I worked well and did not yell at each other once. We didn’t even use the F word or a strong Darl!!! (Sailings couples lingo)We had a blast and Sal was brilliant!! We are now back in Cygnet drinking more wine than we need to. Have a great day everyone and thanks for following our big adventure. 12.01.2022 Happy Valentine’s Day everyone. Don’t forget to buy your boat some flowers

09.01.2022 Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!! Were the delightful words I woke up to this morning!! I thought I must been having a nice dream. But then I discovered all these people around our boat rowing racing sculls!! With people on megaphones screaming at them!! So that ended my nice dream thoughts. We must have been anchored on there training course. As they were coming closer and closer to us. We couldn’t move anywhere else. This is were the cruising guide says to anchor But if they ha...d have asked nicely we would have moved without an issue. After this we decided to jump in to the Dinghy and head up to Huonville. About 8ks up past Franklin. Sal has been craving going into craft/gift shops and looking at stuff she can’t afford to buy. So we ventured up the river. To a very pretty spot.Tied up and walked into the town. But Sal couldn’t find any shops to her liking and bought nothing.(thank god there is enough crap on this boat). We then cruised home enjoying the river views as we went. Lots of boats to check out. It is a very special place this Huon river. Do yourself a favour and check it out sometime. My afternoon then was spent doing maintenance on Music Maker. Changing oil and filters and so on. Sal cleaned and tidied up. Then she made the best Steak dinner I have ever had. It was delicious! Then to eat it with the beautiful river view and the Tasmanian mountains in the background was just amazing! Sal is a great cook. She can even turn a Brussel sprout and Jelly fish sandwhich into something special. Tomorrow we’re off to the open day of The living Boat trust which should be fun followed by a nice sail back to Cygnet. To all our friends and families who are in lock down our thoughts are with you and hope your all ok and get thru this. Please stay strong and positive Have a great day everyone and thanks for following us. Peter and Sal Sent from my iPhone
