14.01.2022 Wonderful experience sailing on Caprice ! I have been helping to sail the 52 foot Yacht to take First Responders (paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, firefighters, rescuers ...) out sailing on Sydney Harbour. Leanne has started this amazing community of sailers with the objective to share her passion and "lift the spirit" of those who take care of us. Wonderful project, I am so proud to be part of! @ Sydney, Australia
13.01.2022 All went splendidly well yesterday for our lift and look ... and a good power wash.. I have to say, I did a sterling job on her bottom back in the USA 2017 ... 3 years and about 16,000 nautical miles.. her bottom is still in fantastic condition!! 08.01.2022 What a spectacular day on Caprice in the sunshine yesterday! We got to thank our amazing team of ER Nurses for the dedicated work they are doing, especially during this challenging time! A beautiful sail and then a lunch stop in Rose Bay was yesterday’s ‘to do’ list! 04.01.2022 I just had to share the story behind our amazing day today. This gorgeous yacht, Caprice , was custom designed and built in Finland for Pekka Herlin, the previo...us principal owner of global Finnish elevator company KONE. In 2016, fellow Australian Leanne Grant fell in love with this gorgeous boat , bought her (spent 18 months preparing) and sailed her back to Australia where she currently resides in Sydney Harbour. Today we had the pleasure, along with other women from @finnair_offical @iittala @finlandinaustralia @marimekko to spend time together and learn more about Caprice & Leannes story! Check out @sailing.lifts.your.spirits to learn more as Leanne prepares to offer up her yacht to provide opportunities for our first responder communities to get out on the water & try sailing.
