23.01.2022 One of the most fantastic programs we have running down at HHSC is our work with the Hunters Hill High School "Ready Set Sail!" program - teaching kids skills, ...resilience and a bit of old fashioned grit and team work!! We were absolutely thrilled to get started again this morning and as Coach Dana found out - the kids have grown in their term and a bit away!! After being a bit rusty early, the skippers remembered their tacks and gybes, the crews worked on their trimming and balancing, and a great session was had by all. Ther RS Quests once again proved their robust yet modern design, being rigged quickly and moving nicely in the 4-6 knot winter breeze - we simply love these craft! We've been working with the school on Covid compliance issues, working between School requirements and the Club's, and it worked well today, albeit the President has a bigger washing load of wetsuits than normal!!!
