19.01.2022 To ensure impeccable provenance of our wine, Sails has four cellars which are maintained in an ideal environment where wines are kept at an average temperature of 15 C and 65% humidity. Sails longevity cellar (a separate cellar in Rumba), is where wines are kept at a cool 10 Celsius. This is to slow down the maturing of some of our older reds and vintage champagnes, many of which are 20 to 30 years old! Included in our longevity cellar is the 2004 Penfolds Grange Bin... 95 Magnum priced at $2,520! Penfolds wine was established in 1844 at Magill Estate near Adelaide by founders Dr Christopher and Mary Penfold. 17.01.2022 The Sails team wishes to advise that in accordance with the latest national health restrictions from midday today, Monday 23 March 2020, the restaurant and our coffee cart will be temporarily closed. To help support our staff and loyal customers during the foreseeable future we are putting plans in place to open a takeaway offering from the beach front in early April. We thank the community for your messages of love and support during this time.

16.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that our beachside coffee cart will be re-opening from Saturday 30th of May!!! This will be a takeaway service open daily from 7am. Come grab a coffee and croissant and take a stroll along the beach. It’s a great way to start your day!... The updated opening date for the restaurant is expected to be around early July. 05.01.2022 The sun is shining in Noosa today!!! We would like to assure our customers that we remain open for business and are working prudently to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. In addition to the previously mentioned stringent hygiene protocols we have implemented, we are continuously monitoring new advice as it is issued. To ensure we meet the required guidelines on spacing, our 100 seat restaurant has been reduced to only 60 seats. Along with our fellow Noosa hospital...ity venues, Sails remains operational in support of our customers and 50-plus staff. 03.01.2022 We would like to express our thanks for all the messages of support and the recent reservations enquiries that we have received. We are excited to know that there are so many out there that are keen to come and dine at Sails as soon as they are able. Whilst the Governments plan for the relaxation of restrictions is a positive move, the initial steps would not allow sufficient trade to justify the re-opening of the restaurant. In addition, as we have undertaken a major refit o...f the dining room and kitchen, we still have several tasks to complete. Whilst we are unsure of an exact opening date at the moment, it is not likely to be before mid-June. In order to keep all our valued customers informed, we will be posting any updates on our plans for commencing trade via this Facebook page and on our website.
