In view of the current situation relating to the surge of COVID-19 cases I urge you that if you have not listed your name as attending this (Sunday & Monday Divine Liturgy) St Elias' festival at our Wollongong church please do not come as the restrictions are very strict and we cannot exceed the allocated numbers. ... Also if you live in any of the hotspots listen to the government instructions in relation to your specific area. We pray that this pandemic ends and that everyone is staying safe.

01.01.2022 "And Elijah said, I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts" (1KI 19:10) Dear Parishioners, Due to the current health restrictions in the state the program for state of NSW, the program for the celebration of the Feast of St Elias will be as follows:... * PLEASE NOTE. Saint Elias Church Wollongong, will have its doors open every day othe week for all worshipers to attend for personal prayers and pilgrimage from Monday the 13th to Monday the 20th of July from 5:00pm-7:30pm. *SERVICES PROGRAM Saturday 18th of July: The church will be open from 9:00 am for personal prayer, to light candles and take the Holy Bread (No Holy Communion) lunch & access to our bookshop will be provided. At 5.00pm we will begin the Vespers service. Sunday morning: Matins will begin at 9:30 am followed by the Divine Liturgy. Lunch & access to our bookshop will be provided. Sunday Afternoon: The church will remain until 5pm when we will pray the Vespers service & the Five Loaves for the feast of St. Elias. Monday morning: Divine Liturgy for the Feast of St Elias. Matins will start at 9:30 amfollowed by Divine Liturgy. Lunch & access to our bookshop will be provided. ***Please important to let your parish priest know that you are coming and the number of people.
