As a consequence, anyone who attended the Club during the following times is now considered a close contact who must self-isolate for 14 days, get tested for COVID-19 and monitor their health. ... Friday 7 August from 5pm to 6.30am on Saturday 8 August Saturday 8 August 4.30pm to 11.30pm Sunday 9 August 1pm to 9pm Monday 10 August 12pm to 9.30pm. Our Ukrainian Orthodox Church is not only made up of Ukrainians and their descendants but also other ethnicities who attend our Churches, who have found a spiritual home within our walls, all of our parishes count Belarusans as parishioners who we pray with, and for their country durin...g this difficult time in their history. God has created us all with the right to have free will and self determination, any government or ideology that challenges this truth goes against Gods Will for His people, scripture calls us to not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love. (Gal. 5:13) This call from St Paul applies equally to our elected officials and those chosen to govern. 20.01.2022 Хлб ма велику цннсть для кожно людини, а особливо для християн, адже вн символом духовно поживи, яко потребу людина. Пд час Танства Святого Причастя хлб вино силою та дю Святого Духа стають стинним Тлом й стинною Кров’ю Господа нашого суса Христа. Спаситель Сам встановив це Танство пд час Тайно вечер, роздливши хлб мж Своми учнями: Я хлб живий, який зйшов з небес; хто сть цей хлб, житиме вчно; хлб же, який Я дам, Плоть Моя, яку Я вдда...м за життя свту (н. 6: 51). Причащаючись Святих Дарв, ми приймамо Жертву Любов, виявлену Господом задля людей, що вдкрила нам шлях до спасння. У православних храмах пд час лтург, у Танств вхарист та для поминання пд час проскомид (першо частини лтург) живих померлих використовуться особливий хлб, що називаться просфорою. Грецьке слово перекладаться як приношення. Адже колись перш християни приносили з собою все, що потрбно для богослужння хлб, вино, лей (оливкову олю) та вск для свчок. Ц пожертви, або приношення, приймали священнослужител, а пд час хнього освячення у молитв виголошували мена присутнх на богослужнн та хнх рдних, як вдйшли у вчнсть. З часом просфорою почали називати лише хлб, який використовуться пд час Божественно лтург. На спомин про одне з найбльших чудес Христа насичення народу п’ятьма хлбами пд час проскомид використовують п’ять просфор: богородичну, дев’ятичинну, за здоров'я, заупокйну та агничну. З останньо вирзають центральну частину, яка псля освячення податься для причастя. також практика, особливо поширена у Церквах грецько традиц, використовувати для проскомид одну просфору, яка роздляться за тим самим посвяченням на п‘ять частин. Просфора фзично складаться з двох частин: нижня частина вдповда земному складу людини, а верхня частина з печаткою вдзнача духовне начало. Також дв частини символзують двоприроднсть Господа суса Христа, як Сина Божого Сина Людського. Частини перед випканням готують окремо, а потм з'днують разом, що свдчить про нерозривний зв'язок людсько душ та тла, а також символом поднання Божественно людсько природи Спасителя. До тста обов’язково додають освячену воду, що свдчить про Божу благодать, та држдж як символ животворчо д Святого Духа. Без просфори Божественна лтургя не звершуться, адже пд виглядом хлба вина у Танств вхарист ми приймамо Тло Кров Спасителя на вдпущення грхв життя вчне. Наприкнц богослужння присутнм у храм роздають маленьк частинки, що залишилися вд агнично просфори антидор, що в переклад з грецько означа псля дару. Окрем менш просфори, з яких були взят частиц при молитв за здоров‘я та за упокй, також вддаються врним, як х споживають псля богослужння або збергають для споживання в нш дн, як благословення приймаючи натщесерце.

З вол вруючого народу та за благословенням нашо спльно Матер-Церкви, Вселенського Патрархату, Укранська Церква утвердилася серед автокефальних Церков-Сестер. Православна Церква Блорус ма т ж сам пдстави та право просити Матр-Церкву про Томос, коли на те буде бажання. Однак, незалежно вд юрисдикцйних питань, ми, як православн християни, складамо дину Церкву Христову. 14.01.2022 Food Drive For St Philips Fast (Пилипвка) As always our parish will be collecting food items for the needy of Sydney through The Rev Bill Crews Foundation ... https://www.billcrews.org/ (formally known as The Exodus Foundation as of 16th June 2020) during the upcoming Pre Nativity Fast commencing on, Saturday, 28 November and concluding on Wednesday, 6 January 2021. Items can be brought to Church and left at the designated place in the foyer. To make it easy to understand what to give the foundation use a traffic light system. Gifts marked with a green traffic light will be accepted, while those marked with a red traffic light cannot be used. 13.01.2022 Michel ( Михайло ) Potuzanski 97 years. We mourn the falling asleep in the Lord of Michel Potuzanski who entered eternal life on the morning of Thursday, 22 October. Michel was born in the town of Grushevakha in Kharkiv. ... Like many of his countrymen his journey was a difficult one, escaping persecution after the death of family members, Mykhailo was put into forced labour and before emigrating to Australia lived in France. What strikes me most about the fascinating life of Mykhailo is that even though he had witnessed terrible persecution, living through the forced famine and persecutions that befell his homeland, he was able to give of himself dedicating himself to his family and community, a man of deep faith who lived for the Church and community. He loved his Church of St Aphanasius constantly supporting the parish financially and spiritually. When I began my responsibilities atfer the passing of Fr Volodymyr Lulka, it was Mykhailo who would give much support , his prayers, and can do nature best encompass the spirit of the Ukrainian... The funeral for Mykhailo will be served on Wednesday 28 October at 10am at his beloved parish of St Aphanasius Granville. Our condolences to the entire family. Вчная пам‘ять!

Our gratitude to Anna Bilanenko and the ladies of the Ukrainian Women’s Association/ Anna Yaroslavna for catering the memorial lunch. Thanks also to parishioner Nick Adamov for the icons and Mrs Luba Moskal for the donation of the cross in Pavlo’s memory.
