22.01.2022 ST GEORGE’S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF PARISH COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR THE YEAR 2020 2020. 2 2020 7 . ... . . . 29 2020 . Beloved Parishioners, With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios Kodseie and together with Rev Father Jack Lutfi, president and members of the Parish Council of St George’s Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, I would like to invite you to the Annual General Meeting and Parish Council Election for 2020. This meeting will be held in the Cathedral on Wednesday 2nd of December 2020, at 7pmm. It is an important opportunity for our parishioners to hear about the year in review and to have their say in the administration of our parish. The roles and responsibilities of a parish council member are significant and have a direct impact on the success or otherwise of our church community. Accordingly, the nomination form is preceded by a description of the environment within which we must operate and the expectations of being a parish council member. Nomination forms should be returned by Sunday 29th of November 2020. Please read this carefully and we look forward to your participation in this Annual General Meeting. Yours in Christ Father George Nasr Parish Priest
