24.01.2022 It's Tuesday. We've got meat (and beer). Are you really gonna try and tell me you've got somewhere better to be? Ts and Cs: 4pm - 7pm 1 drink = 1 ticket (size doesn't matter, excludes soft drinks)... be in the building at 7pm to win; you can't win if you leave... It's only like a mild hostage situation. have fun #meattraytuesday

24.01.2022 If you have ventured down the alley way next to Saint John in the last couple of days you may have noticed a big white box at the back of the bar. Earlier in the year we took delivery of our new custom built commercial kitchen and after a wait for permits and approvals and a few hiccups with Covid we finally lifted it into place. Our humble caravan Kitchen has pumped out thousands of burgers over the years and the chefs have done a cracking job in such a small space rain, ha...il or shine. We plan to transition to the new kitchen over the coming month and we are exited to expand our offering now we have the extra space and equipment. We have a few days coming up that we will need to close and food will be unavailable due to power upgrades, equipment install etc so please bear with us. We will keep you updated on any closures and our progress.

PS: it was definitely not a mistake that we got this one on tap.

19.01.2022 ** New trading Hours** We are closing Sunday and Monday for the next couple of months so we can use that time to finish a few tasks we started when we were closed initially from Covid, including the kitchen install. We feel this is the best way to get everything done having the least impact on our staff and customers. We hope to launch the new kitchen and menu early October. Thanks for understanding these constant changes we've had to make over the past few months and we look forward to being back up and running like the good old days.

04.01.2022 With Dry July just around the corner, we are having lots of conversations with people about the different relationships we all have with alcohol. We often have customers apologise for not drinking or saying things like, "I don't want to be that person, but do you have anything non alcoholic?". It is no secret that a large portion of what we offer is alcohol, but we also like to think we are so much more than that. We hope to provide a quality product in whatever we offer, a ...safe and comfortable space to socialise and eat, and importantly a sense of community and friendship. In today's world it can be tough to have a night out with friends for a celebration or after work drinks where alcohol isn't a big part of the festivities. We understand... and want to encourage anyone that is choosing not to drink, or is trying to reduce their alcohol consumption when visiting our venue. We understand there are many reasons as to why you may be choosing not to drink, or are wanting to drink less. We believe this isn't something that you should be sorry for, or have to justify in any way. We want to be there to help with alternative choices and open conversations around this. Rest assured, as a business we are working to reduce stigma around not drinking and also continue working on an offering that supports these choices. In recent times there have been some great innovations in the non-alcoholic space with new products being available all the time. As we work through these we are excited to bring you the very best of these quality beverages. Pictured is a great example of a tasty non-alcoholic beer we have been enjoying. Stay tuned for our curated non/low-alcoholic menu updates.
