18.01.2022 To all Saints players and supporters. Training is back to Thursday night this week. With the weather forecast not looking great training will be on regardless. If we can’t use the oval and nets the next best thing to do is have a BBQ and a few beers together watching the first test match on the big screen. Attendance is still required for this training session so you guys and girls know the rules. If you can’t make myself or the captains still need to know.

13.01.2022 Good Afternoon Everyone please see below an email that was sent from Cricket Tasmania. Due to the below we have no choice but to cancel tomorrows session. Please dont hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions.... We are recommending the cancellation of all programs as per the information below: Cricket Australia, in consultation with its State & Territory Associations, has cancelled the Marsh Sheffield Shield final for 2019/20 and Cricket Tasmania has taken the further step of cancelling all Cricket Tasmania Premier League finals from this week onwards. We expect local community cricket competitions to take the same leadership position and cancel all cricket playing and training activity (this includes Woolworths Cricket Blast Junior and Master Blaster programs) for the remainder of the 2019/20 season in response to this unprecedented global health issue. We know many people in cricket communities around Australia will be disappointed with this decision, but it has been made in our communities best interests in line with government and expert medical advice from Cricket Australias Chief Medical Officer, John Orchard. We acknowledge that this is a more extreme step than communicated in previous weeks, but our advice now is that the risks of playing organised sport at any level are too high to safely continue. We also recommend that all clubs and associations consider the cancellation or postponement of end of season functions.

12.01.2022 Players, Ive had some number double ups in the uniform orders. Theres never been a proper list so have a look at this one and let me know if your number has been taken so I can sort out the new players and their orders. Cheers, Dusty

11.01.2022 Merry Christmas Saints Family I hope you have all had an amazing time with family and friends. Just a quick update is the season so far. Well done to all players involved in getting all teams qualified for the T20s finals.... To the teams involved in longer formats it’s great to have 2 teams high up in the ladder positions and great from 6th grade in winning the last game in keeping their finals hopes alive. WOW to the ladies team what an impact you have had on this club in such a short time. To go into the Xmas break on top of the ladder is a great result. This result hasn’t come along without the hard work you girls have put in over the last 16 plus weeks of training. Great work ladies. To all players training will recommence on Tuesday 5th Jan. Be safe over this festive period. Regards Bents
