It marks the day when General Metaxas rejected an ultimatum given by the Italian director; Benito Mussolini, during World War II. Today the Saint Spyridon College students commemorate by coming together to sing, speak and display their art work.

18.01.2022 Last Friday the year 3-7s went to @latitude_adelaide for an end of year celebration. Here they were able to overcome fears and challenge themselves physically and mentally! Overall it was a very rewarding day!

17.01.2022 This term the year 5 class made it their mission to get Alan their bearded dragon a bigger enclosure! They successfully raised around $600 through a bake stall and a silent auction of their own art work. Alan is now extremely happy in his new home with lots of open space and places to climb! These stations gave the students an opportunity to take part in different Easter traditions but more importantly understand the correlation between them and His resurrection. 07.01.2022 Today the students participated in a buddy class activity for Book Week 2020. This year the theme is Curious Creatures, Wild Minds. We took this opportunity to teach the students about our Orthodox Saints and their animals. The Upper Primary students read stories to the younger students and then made animal masks and book marks to remember those stories. Allowing the students to collaborate across year levels is a great way to build a sense of community and help enhance the students leadership skills. #bookweek2020 #curiouscreatureswildminds

07.01.2022 Yesterday 2nd of March, Saint Spyridon College took part in many Greek traditions in order to celebrate Clean Monday. For the past 5 weeks the students have designed and made their own Kites to fly on Clean Monday to send their prayers closer to God.
