24.01.2022 Hey guys, I hope youre all well - I can only assume so as there has been no Covid-19 cases recorded in SA in over 2 weeks now! Bearing that in mind I think were able to resume training again quite soon. My plan has been to wait until SA Health gives the okay for gyms and spaces of the same nature to resume business as usual. Although gathering of less than 10 are still allowed - so if any of you are itching as much as me to get back to things sooner than later reach out to me as Im keen for some small group training.

24.01.2022 So the rule between community sport and indoor exercise is ambiguous at best, so for the month of May SA Karate will be having winter walks! Bring a jacket and possibly an umbrella and well catch up twice a week for an hour walk Monday and Thursday evening. Mondays 6:30 pm from the KFC Noarlunga parking lot (or old usual walking start) and Thursdays 6:30 pm from my place in Happy Valley. I know tonights short notice but if any of you are free itd be great to see you.... If you would like to come along but dont have my address either text me 0433417192 or PM me on FB.

24.01.2022 **Training is cancelled for at least 2 weeks** I will be sending out a text later today, but due to unprecedented events in a century we are all at a very real risk of getting sick and passing it on. It is my responsibility to keep you all safe and well within the realm of my control and it would be irresponsible of me to not pay attention to the information we have. I hope this all blows over in a week or 2 upon following and adhering to the advice of the government and our guts. Listen to your gut everyone, if you need to stock up - stock up. If you need to stay home - stay the hell home. Be safe and remember to do your Katas. Oss!

16.01.2022 For anyone I couldnt reach via message. Training is all back on, I unfortunately cannot attend until at least next week to only oversee for some time. Youre all in very capable hands with Sempai Chris who is in charge at any time I am not on site. Classes and lessons will be shared between himself, James and Julian. Turns out I ended up with double pneumonia, I have a few months of recovery in front of me but I already cant wait to get back to it. Im looking forward to training with you all again as soon as possible! Keep stretching!

15.01.2022 Hey guys - just letting you all know Im still waiting for an update from HEPS for the go ahead to start up again. Theyre bound by different rules designed around maximizing the safety of the school students - limiting the sites access out of hours is one of those measures. Just a reminder - were meeting up for walks twice a week on training nights. Its been a great way to get back into the groove again of a training schedule and an awesome way to keep in touch. Bein...g a public holiday this Monday I will post tomorrow to see who wants to attend - maybe well catch up earlier as to not walk in the dark! See you all soon! 10.01.2022 Still waiting on a few people to get back to me, I sent a message out to everyone individually (sans Blakes dad - in my move Ive lost his contact info) last week. If you havent got back to me and would like to attend training on Wednesday night please let me know. I have 7 confirmed so its going to be a nice full class either way. 09.01.2022 Hey gang - while its looking like the school gym will be off limits until term 3 I have tentatively secured a training site for the next 3 weeks if youre keen to get back into it. Located on OSullivans Beach road, this is a dedicated Martial Arts studio leasing their space to us. The nights they have available are Wednesday and Friday. I would like to start from next week, please let me know if youre interested and which nights you would want to attend.

Seats will be arranged with spaces so youre not sitting close to each other unless youre in the same family. PLEASE remember to bring drink bottles and the grown ups sweat towels!!!... I will be at the door temperature checking and recording it, the school also requires all adults to fill out a basic "have you been sick, have you traveled..."etc form. Please take it seriously and fill it out correctly. Weve all been waiting a long time to get back to it, lets help stop the spread, have fun and train...and not leave me liable for a fine from SA Health!!! See you all tonight!

03.01.2022 Tomorrow I will be at the Gepps X Markets with a stall for Martial Arts supplies. I have high stock of 8oz Karate Gis which will be priced at $35. I also will have some 10oz Gis, 8oz TKD Gis, Judo Gis and BJJ Gis. I also have some gloves and if the markets allows I have Bokkens and rubber training knives. Please share and I hope to bump into some old friends!
