24.01.2022 These little fellows are so cute, but they also make great distraction teachers.

23.01.2022 In these classes, Rinpoche will give teachings on the classic Indian Buddhist text Bodhisattvas Way of Life by Shantideva. This popular Buddhist text provides wonderfully useful tools for skilful and balanced living. Lama Choedak Rinpoche, who memorised this text when he was 15 years old, will translate from the Tibetan text and offer a down-to-earth commentary with wisdom, humour and compassion. A special focus this term will be on Chapter VI of the text on the Perfection o...f Patience. The practical wisdom of The Bodhisattvas Way of Life gives the essential instructions for how to live a happy life in harmony with others. Support our centre - donate to the Sakya Temple of Peace, the first Tibetan Buddhist temple in Australias capital city. 07.01.2022 WHY KINDNESS MATTERS Relic pills of a monk from near my birthplace. Everyone was surprised when they discovered the pills. Some who have post death thukdam, can... produce relic to inspire devotees. I still think most important practical relic is bodhicitta, heart filled with altruism. Relic pills can inspire to practise selfless kindness and tolerance. Many Buddhist worship relics as theistic people to god, but do not know the importance of the teaching relic of the Buddha, kindness, the cause of relic. When human remain become pills, it may be shared for a wonder that it may inspire to stop Ill-will. Apology to others who cannot relate to it. See more
