We also know that classes arent everyone's chosen way to train and yes we know that certain goals require specific programs... So we have now setup for people to come and train when they feel like it with our 4am to 10pm access (soon to be 24/7)... Not only can you come and train when you like BUT we will give you access to our coaching app so you have a program to follow for the goals you want to achieve. 22.01.2022 Mike Tyson.. I'm a few days Mike makes his return to the ring after 15 years. He is 54 years Old.. ... In that time he went from unquestionably the best on the world in all classes he fought at, he went to jail, struggled with substance abuse, depression, gained a heap of weight, got really unhealthy, unfit and bit someone's ear off. However he has managed to turn his life around, found a new passion for discipline and self care. Returned to tip top health, possibly healthier than he may have been In his prime? To now come back and fight again. This is very similar to many of us. We were really fit, strong and active when we were younger. We may have even been really good at our sports.. However time, life and age creep in and erode that health and fitness. We always look back on those days longingly though. It's your choice whether you want to turn back the clock! 19.01.2022 OUT TRAIN YOUR DIET? You Can Train Hard Enough to enjoy lots of good quality Food. In fact, if you are training hard you should be eating :-... LOTS OF FOOD. BUT if you're eating lots of junk, processed foods and highly palatable low quality foods then you're not optimising how your body performs.. Plus you will be super HUNGRY and want to eat more.... Probably making you fatter.... EVEN though you're working out??? So NO you probably cannot OUT TRAIN this sort of diet! BUT if your diet is based around whole foods, meats, eggs, fruits and vegetables as the foundation.... then you can definitely enjoy some junk from time to time..... Then YES YOU CAN definitely eat LOTS OF FOOD and still lose weight... As with anything QUALITY COUNTS.... 16.01.2022 "I don't want to Get BULKY?" One of the most common things i hear from my female clients when they first start considering lifting weights... BUT the reality is that MOST MEN that are lifting weights aren't even getting BULKY Weight training does Build Muscle but the process is slower than people think, even in the beginning when we get those "new to lifting Gains" its still fairly moderate.... Weight training controls the Shape and Form of your body. It gives you the curves you want in the places that you want them and creates the aesthetic you want to see in the mirror. You can call it Toning, Shaping, Definition... Or whatever else makes it sound more appealing? The reality is though it is Muscle building that we want to see. What WILL make you Bulky is Cupcakes, Cookies and Pizza and performance enhancing drugs. So if we avoids these, lift weights and eat well.... You will achieve the body you want.

13.01.2022 Once you See Results it's easy to keep going. So taking that first step to get started is the most important action you need to take. You don't want to wait for the perfect time, the "right" time or even Monday... Because between now and then you could be already getting results and be well on your way to your goal. There are a number of "Cycles" that follow our Fitness "Actions"... We start exercising, so we become more mindful of what we eat so we don't "Ruin" our hard wor...k. We eat better and exercise regulalry we see the scales move and the clothes fit better. We see this progress and we get excited... We eat a little better, train a little harder... the results come a little faster and before you know it what started as hard work becomes habit. Like any habit the more we practice these skills the more easily they happen. This doesn't mean you don't enjoy a nice meal or miss a day at the gym. Just like any habit we accomodate when needed but because its a habit and not a chore anymore, we just start doing it again naturally. So stop putting off getting started. 09.01.2022 For The Boys.. If you want to Grow you want to make sure you have both nutrition and training optimised. Muscle requires a few things to make them grow:-... Tension Progressive Overload Recovery Food It's not just a matter of going in to the gym and lifting some weights and going about your day. You have to have a program aimed at creating a stimulus every time you enter the gym. Then you have to eat enough food to ensure adequate nutrients for repair and recovery. Finally you have to REST to let that repair happen. Growth takes time and work but you can accelerate your progress by optimising how you train and eat. 07.01.2022 Don't rely on the scale as the sole indicator of progress. When you are new to training especially your body changes in so many ways, some of them actually mean the scale won't always move down. You build muscle faster than more experienced people.... Your body shape changes. You notice more energy You get stronger and fitter quickly. Soreness from training can effect the scale weight reflected. Whether you are new to training or relatively experienced you need to have more than one reference point for progress. Whilst the scale may need to move down over the long term it won't always travel down in a linear fashion..

This has been a year of many challenges but we are at the end of it and hopefully we can be positive to have a great 2021. All of the people I have trained this year, it has been amazing to watch you progress and grow and has been an honour to help you towards your goals.
