22.01.2022 ANZAC day is an important time to remember the sacrifices of those who have gone before us, those who have laid down their lives or suffered great hardship to protect Australians way of life. Its is also a time to recognise those who continue to serve our country. Given the current circumstances, this year, a Dawn Service will be broadcast across Australia from the Australian War Memorial. Whether you will be watching the Dawn Service on TV, or just enjoying the day, I hope the day offers the chance for everyone to reflect on how fortunate we are, despite the current global situation.

14.01.2022 Event number 259 today saw 109 people running, jogging and walking the course, of whom 9 were first timers. Great to see the crew from Bacchus Marsh squeezing parkrun in before attending a local wedding today! A big cheer for the amazing 16 people who recorded new Personal Bests in the perfectly still yet crisp autumn air. The event was made possible today by 9 amazing volunteers: Bernie LARSEN Glenn CRAWFORD Shelley GILES Cat GANGUR who clocked up her 25th volunteer stint today Karla MCKINLAY Tobiasz GRZMIL Lily GANGUR Kerry BRODERICK and Alison MCAULIFFE who is doing her fist offical running event outside of parkrun tomorrow.
