09.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Christmas brings you love, peace and joy. A couple of drinks and some presiess too. Thank you for being part of our lives this year in person or online. I wish you and the important people in your life a beautiful day.

05.01.2022 Interviewing tips for successfully hiring within Real Estate. 90% of SIP chosen recruits are succeeding directly in proportion to their profile's. Let's connect if you would like 90% accuracy recruiting for any roles within Real Estate. I think the last 10% is lifestyle roadblocks, incompatibility with the manager/team or affinity to the local market. So the second interview is about exploring these three things further.... Tips for the second interview. Have a senior member of staff (PM if available as they see things in more detail) sit-in for part of the interview, or meet them first, to give you an additional perspective on; how will they get on within the team, do they fit our image and how they will be accepted by local homeowners given their looks, speech patterns, dress sense etc. Start with more getting to know each other stuff to confirm your first impressions. Check lifestyle fit to the job, i.e. working for at least part of every evening and all day Saturday. How will that impact their current lifestyle, family and hobbies including sporting teams? Introduce this by talking about their current lifestyle to see if there are things that will clash and ask how they will feel about letting go of these things, at least partially. Give them a couple of relevant horror stories from your own sales history. You are not wanting to scare them out of the job, rather, if they take it, that they do so with full knowledge and preparation of your expectations and how the next 10 years of their life will look if they want success. Talk about your expectations of their physical appearance including; business suits, hairstyles, visible tattoos, facial hair, etc. If you expect them to wear a proper business suit when in public, then wear one, with the jacket on, at the interview. Plans to get their registration. Some haven’t studied for a while and maybe a little freaked out by that. You want to support them through this issue as their academic ability has no bearing on sales success so you don’t want good people to be lost for this reason.
