24.01.2022 Q. Are air conditioners noisy? A. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning system are one of the quietest on the market and boast extremely low noise output. But all operating equipment make noise and it is measured in a variety of ways by different manufacturers. The environment/situation in which the outdoor unit is located in has a great effect on the perception of noise. Example: If the condenser is located in a paved courtyard and surrounded by concrete/bricks and wa...ll cladding, the sound generated by the unit will not be absorbed and will bounce off the surfaces. This will increase the perception of air conditioners noise output. If the condenser is located in a soft environment such as a garden or with plenty of space around it, the sound emitted will be less obvious. TIP: If possible do not install your air conditioners outdoor unit near your neighbour’s or your bedroom.

20.01.2022 Tips to reduce your Aircon bill. 1. Turn off at night. evening air is cooler so turning your aircon off and opening some windows/doors can help reduce your costs.... 2. Use timers/thermostats Using a timer and thermostat you can set you unit to turn on and off at certain times and set it at what temperature you wish. 3. Block out sun Keeping your blinds/curtains closed and ensuring your windows and shutters are closed will block out the hot air and sun rays, this ensures your aircon is not working overtime to keep the area cool. 4. Turn off heat emitting elements. by turning off computers, TV's, lamps and ovens etc you will save as all these elements produce heat which means your aircon unit has to work harder by using more energy and electricity. 5. Keep it clean keeping your aircon maintained is important. Ensure your filters are cleaned regularly or replaced to ensure optimum efficiency, dirty filters mean your unit has to work harder which also means more electricity and energy.

19.01.2022 Q. What is Inverter air conditioning? A. Older air conditioning systems run similar to a standard light. You turn on the light when you need it and turn it off when you don’t. These non-inverter type air conditioners turn on full capacity when they are required to cool or heat and turns off when the systems set point temperature is reached.Inverter systems are somewhat similar to an accelerator on a car, when more cooling or heating capacity is required the inverter ramps/spe...eds up the compressor matching the air conditioning load. When the set point temperature is achieved the inverter ramps/slows the compressor down. This makes the inverter controlled space is more comfortable and uses less energy therefore a more economical air conditioner design. -Maintains a smoother temperature. -Less noisy. -Temperature is reached quicker in both heating and cooling -An increase of 30% in heating capacity -Much smaller in size -Up to 35% cheaper to run than non-inverter A/C’s. -Designed to last Studies have shown that compressors in an inverter systems last longer.

02.01.2022 Q. How reliable are your units? A. Reliability generally is governed by a few factors, quality of the system manufacture, quality of the installation process and the routine maintenance programs. As we have been involved in the air conditioning industry for over 30 years, with involvement with many brands. Our experience over this time is that Mitsubishi Heavy Industries equipment is of the highest manufacture and design quality in the industry. We recommend that only qualified trade persons are engaged to carry out the installation process and that best practices are always implemented. Regarding routine maintenance, we recommend that the unit’s filters are regularly cleaned and a reputable/qualified company carries out an inspection service at least annually.

01.01.2022 Q.What is Back-To-Back installation A. A back to back installation is the easiest and least expensive air conditioning installation. It generally only applies to wall mounted splits systems. It is where the indoor unit is mounted on the inside of an outside wall. The interconnecting pipework and electrical cables exit the outside wall behind the indoor unit and are connected to the outdoor unit mounted outside below and adjacent the wall. It is an install which uses the least amount of materials and labour.
