23.01.2022 I wanted to mention Battery Meters briefly, I often get the question will this meter suit Lithium batteries, there are a few different types of lithium batteries and most meters do. BUT when people ask the question they are 99% of the time referring to the batteries that go into caravans cameras etc, there are lithium iron phosphate battery, with built in BMS. The BMS is designed to manage the internal cells, but also to constantly show 12v to your equipment, what this means ...in effect is any normal battery meter will not work properly, it will show 100% right up until the moment its flat. In this case its not the actual meter than unsuitable, its the BMS that causes the issues, and up to now there is no lifepo battery (I am aware of) with a BMS that gradually goes down to make a standard meter work, if you know of one please let us know in the comments!. What this means in effect is that you require a Coulomb meter, its a meter that works of usage so is one percent accurate, they monitor the voltage (V), the capacity (Ah), the power (W) and the energy of a battery. This information allows the user to get a State of charge in % (SoC) or depth of discharge (DoD) of the battery. It calculates in real-time the remaining time until the battery is completely empty. 18.01.2022 Want to share our recent and still ongoing issue with an express post article, this left from Perth 2 hours up the road on the 31st August, after not seeing it move for nearly two weeks I lodged a complaint, and the very next day its on the way, today it was supposed to be delivered, it didn't happen and has gone back to the depot, and now the tracking says I will see it Monday, in total that will be 15 days, to travel 2 hours as an express post item, not crossing any borders, and in a state that has the least restrictions of all. According to Australia post 1 to 10 working days is the allowed time for an EXPRESS post item delivered within the same state. So to everyone that is still waiting we know.. we are sorry but we have no control over this issue, and it seems neither do Australia Post.
