05.01.2022 As I learn anything new I tend to start dissecting it and figuring out what Id do differently next time almost immediately after I complete it. Whilst it means Im focused on continually improving Ive realised it means I often dont ever stop to enjoy how far Ive come......... I was lucky enough to be invited to help do some special fx makeup at our schools Halloween disco tonight and for once I didnt critique my work- instead I focused on how happy it made the kids when they took that first look in the mirror or as they showed their friends their new wounds and it was such a great feeling!! I had an incredible time and it was by far the most satisfying night of work Ive had. Nothing quite like a great group of kids to boost your confidence
