16.01.2022 SENIOR RESULTS - ROUND 18 vs Adelaide Cobras (Away) Under 18's - 1-2 Reserves - 2-1 Seniors - 1-2... 3 hard fought games were played out on Saturday against the Adelaide Cobras away at Jack Smith Park. The Under 18's were the better side in their encounter but did not take their chances and were made to pay losing 1-2. The reserves came back from 1-0 down at half time to record a gutsy win. Goals from Tom Hams and a late Nabil Jamal free-kick were enough to get the 3 points. Jamal's free-kick just before full time was recorded and sent in for us to share. Our Seniors were unlucky not to come away with any points after a controversial penalty midway through the 2nd half to the Cobras was enough to split the teams. With the scores locked at 1-1 at half time with an equalising headed goal by Nathan Pettit, the Berries squandered some great chances early in the 2nd half to go ahead. Dominating possession and pushing players forward they were unable to break their opponents down. Next week we play away travelling to our neighbours at Pontian Eagles. Game times are at 10.30am/12.45pm & 3.00pm. Thank you to our supporters who continue to come out every weekend and get behind our players and support the club.

10.01.2022 SENIORS GAME DAY - 18/07 AWAY VS ADELAIDE COBRAS Note later kick off times at Jack Smith Park. 2.30pm Under 18s 4.45pm - Reserves... 7.00pm Seniors See more

10.01.2022 SENIOR RESULTS - ROUND 19 vs Pontian Eagles (Away) Under 18's - 3-5 Reserves - 1-0 Seniors - 2-1... Once again 3 hard fought games were played out on Saturday against local rivals Pontian Eagles away at Yalumba Drive. The Under 18's come up against a fast and determined opposition. Losing a player midway through the 1st half made things extremely difficult. Early in the 2nd half scores were level at 3-3 but unfortunately the opposition come home the stronger team. Goalscorers were Liam Marshall, Emir & Kenny Sahinovic. The reserves grinded out a gutsy 1-0 win. A first half opportunist goal by Peter Arabatzis after a goalie blunder was enough to get the 3 points. A strong first half performance backed up by good defending under pressure in the 2nd half was good enough to get the win. Our Seniors produced a strong performance to get their 2nd win of the season with a well deserved 2-1 win. An extremely strong first 20 minutes produced good chances where we should have taken the lead. Pontians responded strongly creating some good chances of their own and scores were locked away at 0-0 at half time. Pontians took the lead early in the 2nd half after heading in from a corner kick. Pontians were then reduced to 10 men and Salisbury kicked into gear. A free-kick cut back across goal was opportunistically taken by Harry Trimper at the back post. Debutant Jack Robery then brilliantly chased down a lost cause and played Trimper through who was brought down in the box. Liam Bebbington stepped up and cooley slotted the ball home. Salisbury stayed composed for the final 10 minutes to bring home an important 3 points for the club. This week we play our Round 20 home game against the Cove at the West Beach Shores facility on Friday evening. Reserves kickoff at 6.15pm followed by the Seniors at 8.30pm. Under 18's have an early start Saturday morning kicking off at 8.30am. Good luck to all 3 teams. Thank you to our supporters who continue to come out every weekend and our miniroos who shared the experience with our Seniors on Saturday. It was great to have them there.

01.01.2022 The Salisbury United Football Club wish to congratulate both Harry Trimper and Jack Robery on making their Senior debuts over the past 2 weeks. Both players are still age eligible for our Under 18's and have worked extremely hard in getting their opportunity. Harry went one better over the weekend coming off the bench against Eastern United and scoring his first Senior goal. Jack was also unlucky not to score when hitting the post in the dying minutes. We watch their progression closely and all other players aspiring to play Senior football at Salisbury United. Well done !!

01.01.2022 The Salisbury United Football Club congratulates our Senior Captain Scott Bice who will be playing his 250th game this weekend against Adelaide Cobras at Richardson Reserve in Wynn Vale. Scott joined Salisbury United last season and has become an integral part of the team. He has shown great loyalty during an extremely tough period and is very well respected amongst his peers. His leadership qualities on and off the park are fantastic and his work with the younger players is ...invaluable. He certainly has become a role model for all our younger players coming through, is always positive and leads by example. We invite all Salisbury United supporters to come out this weekend and celebrate this fantastic milestone Scott has achieved. The team will be doing everything it can to turn around its fortune and celebrate a win with Scott who undoubtedly deserves it. Congratulations Scott, we hope there are many more games to come !!
