18.01.2022 Just a reminder when coming into the clinic we do have policies in place in order to keep our staff and the public safe. We do have an absolute limit of 4 people in the waiting/consulting area (excluding staff), please social distance at all times, we would appreciate if pet owners call on arrival in the car park, and our friendly nurses will advise you as to when it is safe to enter the clinic. We ask that no more than 2 people to come to appointments, unless you have childr...en with you, hand sanitiser is always available at the front counter and we ask if you can sanitise on arrival. If you do not have an appointment, please call before entering the clinic so we can help you. If you have any cold or flu symptoms, are in isolation or in close contact with anyone who is, we ask that you please stay home. All of our nurses are covid marshals and may ask you to wait outside if our waiting room is at capacity or we do not know why you are entering the clinic. Please be patient and understanding with us, we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and our doors open to provide a vital service. Keep up the great work South Australians See more

18.01.2022 It is with great sadness to let everyone know that our precious boy Romeo has passed away and joined those over rainbow bridge. He will be greatly missed by us all and we know he will be missed by many of you that came to the clinic. He was a very handsome, chilled, loving and unique boy, and we are all grieving immensely at this time. So we kindly ask to respect our privacy and grieving process, and we will not be answering any questions in regard to his passing at this traumatic time. Rest In Peace our cheeky boy, we know you will always be looking over us

17.01.2022 Congratulations to our adorable Puppy Preschool graduates

17.01.2022 Did you know we offer FREE dental checks? Most pets don't have their teeth brushed daily like us, tartar builds up causing gingivitis (painful inflammation of the gums), halitosis (bad breath) and periodontal disease, leading to painful abscesses and tooth loss. The tartar is solid and adhered to the teeth, only able to be removed by scaling. If it is not removed, the bacteria in the tartar is ingested and can cause permanent damage to the heart and other major organs. Book in for a free dental check today, we will give you an estimate of cost of any dental work required. Call us on 8281 2733 to book. Pets dental health is just as important as ours

09.01.2022 Did you know that Veterinarians are four times more likely to take their own lives than the general public? Sadly in Australia the statistics are that one Veterinarian commits suicide every 12 weeks. With high case loads and busy long days, trying to deal with the loss of our clients loved pets with no time to grieve, going constantly between appointments, surgical procedures and hospitalised patients and trying to smile when we are feeling sad inside, can take its toll. We are in this industry because we love animals, and remember we are all human. Please be kind to our Vets and Nurses, remember we love your pets

09.01.2022 We are a locally owned business that proudly supports the National Desexing Network and Cats Assistance to Sterilise Inc. Apply for a voucher online with the NDN to use at our clinic at ndn.org.au (dogs and cats) or contact Cats Inc on 8331 0476 (Cats only) for information on how to qualify for low cost desexing vouchers all year round

09.01.2022 We currently have no phone or internet service, technicians are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience

09.01.2022 Hi everyone, due to the recent cluster of covid-19 infections in the northern area, particularly in the Salisbury and surrounding areas, we are actioning our covid safety plan. The rules are now as follows starting from 9am today until further notice: Please wait in your car until we instruct you to enter the clinic, we would appreciate for you to call us in the car park on arrival, we will let you know when you may enter. You may be asked to wait outside if you enter without... calling first. A limit of one owner at a time in the waiting area, pets will be taken into the consultation room by our Veterinarians and nurses and brought back out to you. You are also welcome to wait in your car if you wish. If you have any cold or flu symptoms, are in quarantine or in close contact with anyone that is, we ask you not to attend the clinic and reschedule your appointment. Please call ahead for any food or medication orders and pay with credit card over the phone. Please sanitise your hands on entry and maintain social distancing at all times. These measures are to keep our staff and clients safe so we can continue to stay open and provide this vital service, so please be kind and understanding. Thank you and stay safe

09.01.2022 As we are considered an essential service we are still open during the six day lockdown, however our protocols have changed understandably. As of tomorrow we will only be booking in essential appointments (emergencies and unwell patients), no non-routine appointments or procedures will be booked until at least next Wednesday. Our doors will be locked, so curbside service only, so please stay in your car and call us, and you must be wearing a mask when you arrive in your car. Please be kind and patient, we understand this is a stressful time for everyone and we all want to get through this and stay safe!! Thank you.

01.01.2022 There has been a recent spike in positive cases of Panleukopenia (feline parvovirus) in cats in Adelaide. Please make sure your cats are up to date with vaccinations, as this is an effective protection against this highly contagious and very serious virus. It is spread via direct contact with infected cats secretions such as faeces, urine, blood, nasal discharge, or from contaminated surfaces such as bowls or clothing that has been in contact with the virus. Cross contaminat...ion from fleas is also possible, so make sure all pets are on a good quality monthly flea prevention. Symptoms are depression, loss of appetite, high fever, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea, nasal discharge and dehydration. If your cat is displaying any of these symptoms, please seek veterinary treatment as soon as possible. Vaccination is their best protection!
