25.01.2022 PHOTOGRAPHY OF MUSICAL NOTES IN A BOWL OF WATER These beautiful kaleidoscopic photographs are musical notes, played on a piano, as they interact with water plac...ed in a nearby bowl. As human beings, our body is made of 60% water and the brain and heart, 73%. Is it any surprise that we can literally feel and react to music? (Do look at the image in its entirety!)

23.01.2022 50% of Americans were farming in 1880. Now less than 2% of the nation is employed in agriculture. From another perspective, in 1945 Americans grew 45% of their... food in their backyard gardens. Now we grow 0.1% of our food in our backyards. We created this era of chemical mega farms that has led to the destruction of our soils, water systems, oceans, and human health. By the same reality, we can transform this planet to the most verdant and regenerative ecosystem that has been in many millennia. By learning to work in a co-creative process with mother nature and her extraordinary variety of species, farmers and consumers will participate to witness richer soils and more abundance of life and health than has been seen in human history. If this conversation is meaningful to you, follow and support the work of Farmer's Footprint seeking to catalyze the universal adoption of regenerative practices through amplifying voices of those doing the work on the ground, building public awareness, expanding accessibility to educational resources, and scaling next generation economic models that support investment in a regenerative future. 16.01.2022 During WWII, 40% of our food was grown in our own backyards. Back then, we called these Victory Gardens, grounded in the belief that our independence would come... from our resilience. Though life for many at this time was unimaginably difficult, we looked to homegrown food as a source of independence, freedom, and health. In many ways, WWII became a war of attrition through resources, and the secret was not through better technology or better railroads, but through decentralization and backyard gardens. For the first time since the 1940s, this past year led thousands of families to plant their own backyard gardens. Despite all the pandemonium we've created as a population, we still bought nearly every last seed available in the US. Once we started growing, it didn't take long to realize that seeds have all the magic. We’ve started to learn that if you create anything besides a lawn in your backyard, you're winning the game for the planet and for your own independence. And the less we metal in the garden, the more beauty will come out of it. Farmers are always the first to say that the more you try to fight Mother Nature, the more you're going to lose. In my experience working with farmers and families through @farmersfootprint, I find the most successful farmers are always making space for nature to do the work. Whether you’ve got a multi-acre farm or aspirations for your own small backyard garden, I encourage you to find the magic in the seeds and let Mother Nature do her work. Just by connecting with some soil and water, you'll tap into the biophotonic energy around us and channel that into a healing power within you. Follow Farmer's Footprint to stay connected to regenerative principles, foodways and farmers and don’t miss the rest of this conversation with Josh Trent https://podcasts.apple.com//special-encore-z/id1009470193 .

07.01.2022 Someone once said when you love someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when... they go into care and when they die. This is called Ambiguous Loss. ‘Rapidly shrinking brain’ is how doctors described it. I wouldn't wish Dementia on anyone. As the persons brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink. There will be people who will scroll by this message because dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia. To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would appreciate it if my friends could put this on your page for today. Hold your finger anywhere on the message to copy and paste to your Timeline. Thank you For all those that have had friends or family members living with Dementia And to all the Caregivers in facilities looking after these lost souls Big Hugs Special Thank you to all willing to post to their time lines. 03.01.2022 Healing, connection, human health, planetary health, and humor...It's all on the table in the latest podcast with @darinolien Link in bio @zachbushmd #Repost @...darinolien It’s just brain-numbing, the complexity of coordination that’s needed to do something that we would call healing. Living inside every person are trillions of microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other life forms. These microorganisms are collectively known as the microbiome. Listening to Zach Bush MD talk about the human microbiome is almost like a religious experience. And when you hear the story of how he discovered the things he knows, you’ll understand why. Zach wants us all to be empowered by the healing capacity of our own bodies. He knows we’re all sovereign beings, and each one of us should own that fact This conversation has lots of science-y stuff. But don’t worry, once Zach was done melting my brain, he gave me chills I really want you guys to hear this one. We need to understand how our body works. We need to understand that we have a whole universe of flora and fauna inside us. The key to health and well being is learning how our cells heal, so we can let them do their jobs. Learn more about Zach and all his amazing work on the relationship between the human microbiome and health on the latest episode of The Darin Olien Show.
