24.01.2022 26 year renunion with our (then) SBS Youth Orchestra manager, the lovely Robyn Grounds, together here with Simon Tedeschi and I (who met in this orchestra), following our Hunters Hill Music Society recital today, exploring the form of the Miniature as interpreted by composers from a number of countries. Thanks for having us, Hunters Hill Music Club.

21.01.2022 Thanks for having Simon Tedeschi and I play for you, Canowindra Fine Music, at @perennialle_plants with handmade earrings made especially for me by Amalinde Mueller from @handmade_with_love235 We had a great time with the warmest of audiences (and take home some entertaining mouse plague stories!).#perenialleplantscanowindra #canowindrabaroquefest #fluteandpiano #handmade_with_love235 #mouseplague2021

18.01.2022 I am not sure that I ever did, but I will never take performing for a live audience for granted. This was dear Simon Tedeschi and I in our first live performance post lock-down last year, relishing the intensity of the experience. We will be performing in Sydney this Sunday, with some wonderful lesser-known works by Beach, Nelegatti and Reger as well as favourites by Fauré, Gaubert and Poulenc. Looking forward to performing for you at Hunters Hill Town Hall, 2.30 pm Sunday 13th June. http://www.huntershill.fmca.org.au Photo: Peter Hislop.

10.01.2022 Thank you SoundsLikeSydney for your eloquent review of a concert Simon Tedeschi and I so enjoyed playing. perfectly encapsulating the elegance and lucence of this late 19th century stylea truly mesmerising experience.

10.01.2022 This is a marvellous initiative for aspiring composers with an ensemble close to my heart.

08.01.2022 Sad news to learn of the passing of conductor Heribert Beissel, whose career spanned over sixty years. He greatly influenced many musicians of my generation who played in his Klassiche Philharmonie Bonn, an institution, pushing and forming us, demanding enormous dynamic ranges, bringing out his tuning machine in rehearsals for wind chords, offering many of us concerto experiences in Germany’s greatest hallls and a wonderfully close connection with Beethoven, the Beethovenhalle and the Beethovenfest. He generated the atmosphere of a large family atmosphere where friendships for life began. He also could never be stillEver industrious and never exhausted by the rigourous touring; I cannot imagine him resting, but nonetheless, I wish him to Rest In Peace. https://www.google.com.au//nachruf-heribert-beissel-dirige
