08.01.2022 Thrilled to see how this rustic & querky landscape has evolved in just 4 years since I prepared a Landscape Master Plan for site. Locally sourced pervious materials, water & raised earth mounds softened with native plantings to provide a wonderful amphitheatre around the garden feature in this landscape. Peaceful, tranquil, interesting & individual # nativeplants #centralwest #sallybourmelandscapes #gardens

07.01.2022 Enjoying beautiful weather over last few days in Cowra. Today I revisited The Australian & Japanese War Grave site in Doncaster Drive. I proudly prepared a concept plan for this site for Cowra Shire Council in 2017, noting extensions in fuctional hard sufaces, repetion & uniformity of plantings and the inclusion of some lovely native species. #centralwest #australianjapanese #communityspaces #landscapes #sallybournelandscapes

06.01.2022 GORGEOUS AUTUMN WEATHER TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!! My home gardening efforts this weekend will be spent once again in the Veggie Garden. It has been dug over, weeds removed, mulched & seeds planted directly (rocket, snow & sweet peas, carrots, beetroot) with other seeds raised in trays to plant over following weeks (broccoli, spinach, kale, caul & cabbage). This weekend its garlic, spinach, more brassicas, berries & herbs. All full of lots of Vitamins, antioxidants & fresh goodness to improve my families immune system plus feel self-satisfied when growing your own food. Embrace this beautiful weather, the rain received & family home time to all get involved in creating your own home takeaway & teaching the kids some life skills.

05.01.2022 Photos of new landscape designed Nov 2019 for lovely repeat clients (former garden still proudly displayed on my website). They have worked hard to install this landscape with the help of www.countrylifebuilding.com.au installing structural elements such as brick steps, paving & concrete steppers. It's always so satisfying to see my designs come to fruition & evolve beautifully. #landscape #centralwest #Millthorpe #rustic #recycledbricks #gardens #sallybournelandscapes

05.01.2022 Weekend adventures at Cowra Adventure Playground. I prepared a conceptual plan for this wonderful site in 2017. My children enjoyed playing on play elements I proposed: the flying foxes, downhill slides, a quick dance in the Dancing Circle & running along paths winding around the beautiful boulders. It was great to see the inclusion of the pyramid climbing frame, signage & other wonderful elements added by community and Council. #cowra #naturalplayspaces #sunshine #centralwest #kids #sallybournelandscapes

04.01.2022 Morning light in my garden. After years of neglect due to busyness I finally have a bit of time to divide & plant out areas affected by drought & salty bore water. Hope for a mini transformation this Easter long weekend #sallybournelandscapes #stayathome #isolation #isolationcreation #morningsun #centralwestnsw

04.01.2022 A few of my favourite photos of my own garden taken only a few years ago when the kids were little & cute, I worked a lot less & had more time to devote to my garden. It has suffered due to lack of water over recent years & is less maintained so has been a bit camera shy for a while. However, its form & design still shine through and I am it sure it wont too long to get it back in shape, & hopefully me in the process. I hope to take advantage of this beautiful Autumn weather & devote more time to it over the following months.

02.01.2022 The spirits of my Veggie Garden have just been lifted with 5mm of rain. Beautiful shinny green leaves, showing the glow that only rain provides are being used our family stir fry tonight
