05.01.2022 MEMORIAL CELEBRATION FOR DIXIE POZZI A wake to celebrate Dixie’s memory will be held at the Salmon Gums Hotel When : Monday 29th June 2020 Time : 4.00pm onwards ... Raise a beer or more on us ( Pozzi Sisters ) in memory of Dix and enjoy a complimentary sausage sizzle from Bruce and Val. Dix was an old timer of Salmon Gums since late childhood. He loved his farm, this place he called home with memories of family links going back to the early days of farming since 1926. Dix was an old world bush gentleman with a kind word and friendly smile for everyone. He enjoyed the social contact of meeting friends to share a few beers and spin a yarn or two at Sunday sessions at the pub over many years.
