Thursday and Friday, Then we are opening a Saturday with the overflow of our clients needing an appointments.... Please note we have very strict health guidelines in place, and we thank you for following our instructions. With trading two days, it means our days are heavily booked, so please be patient with us as we try our best to accommodate each of you. We are still offering home delivery of retail products & Home pro kits if you are opting to stay in, all you need to do is contact the salon on 51432765 and one of our staff will assist you.

23.01.2022 TRADING HOURS THIS WEEK/ LATEST COVID UPDATE Annie is in an online event this week, but it has given us the time to organize ourselves to be COVID compliant. With face masks being the new normal, we are preparing to have our very own to supply to you! So if you forget one, we have your covered, excuse the pun. lol... Not wearing your mask will result in NO SERVICES being carried out for you. Our staff will also be protecting themselves with a covering. Kyra will be in the salon WEDNESDAY 9am till 3pm for any retail or gift voucher purchases and appointment making. At this stage, we believe hairdressing is allowed to remain open during stage 3 - so until we hear from Daniel Andrews, this will be how we operate. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 21.01.2022 S I X Y E A R S T O D A Y Wow! I cant believe its been six years since SALON AK opened there doors! Its been an amazing journey! Im so glad I trusted my intuition and decided to open my own salon. It hasnt always been roses, like running any business it can be tough, you make a lot of sacrifices, you put a lot off hours in hoping that you make it through!... Its certainly not something I could achieve on my own though, I have an amazing supportive clientelle that continue to show up! You all are beautiful souls and I enjoy every minute with each of you! My superstar Kyra, without her the salon certainly wouldnt run as smooth as it does, she is a great asset to the salon, & Im so appreciative to have her apart of the AK team. Im truly grateful for everyone that supports our salon even more so during these difficult times, its means the absolute world to me! We are still maintaining our social distancing within the salon, therefore this limits the amount the clients we can see. 07.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE - We wanted to take the time to let you know that we are still taking this very seriously. We ask that you please take it as seriously as we are. Hand sanitizer is provided on our front desk for you to use upon arrival. ... All clients are asked to head to the hand wash station and thoroughly clean and dry your hands. We ask that you are strictly on time to your appointment as we are ruining a tight schedule with our cleaning of each station in between clients. Please bring your own book or magazine as we have temporarily removed ours for your safety. As for refreshments we are using disposable cups. New signage will be arriving any day to help keep things clear. Every station is disinfected after used an all equipment is sanitized, no towel or wrap is used twice to maintain optimal safety. We ask that you come alone to your appointment, please no children, friends, or other family members. At this stage face masks are optional, until further notice. LIMIT the amount of COVID conversation, we understand its a hot topic, but as your self care venue, we want to create a space where everything is positive for your mental health and our staffs. 05.01.2022 PLEASE READ We understand that our clients have lives outside of the salon and we know that every now and then things don’t work out as planned. We are a small business that relies on having our clients turn up to their booked appointment so that we can pay the stylist that is at work to make you look and feel fabulous so we can pay to keep the electricity on and the doors open.... When our client doesn’t attend their appointment or give us enough notice that they can’t attend, that means we may have turned away other clients because that time was allocated specifically for you. CANCELLATION POLICY If you need to cancel or change your appointment we require at least 24 hours notice otherwise we regret there may be a 30% cancellation fee, pending the service booked. You will need to call to let us know you are unable to make it. If we are closed you will need to leave a voice message. If you are unable to call us more than 5 hours before your scheduled appointment time we will need to charge you a cancellation fee of 50% of the service booked. NO SHOW This means you just don’t turn up for your appointment, nor do you give us any notice. You will be charged 100% of the booked service, which has to be paid before you can re-book. When you do re-book you are also required to pay a 100% upfront for the next booking when it is made. This deposit is forfeited if you give less than the required notice period to not attend the appointment. If you don't attend the next appointment from there, unfortunately we will no longer be accepting appointments by you. We appreciate the ongoing support of our clients and hope we never have to charge you these fees.
