24.01.2022 Looking forward to moving & connecting tomorrow!!

21.01.2022 To celebrate International Dance Day 2020, direct from our Limited Mobility Program, we'll dance around the world from our chairs. Beatriz looks forward to connecting and dancing together and thanks Bankstown Arts Centre for enabling us to serve our community. "We can do anything, and go anywhere, with our imagination... Now more than ever, it's important that we keep our bodies and minds, active and engaged... together we will dance around the world sharing the joy of music... and movement" BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/online-salsa-lessons-ticket

18.01.2022 SAME SAME, BUT DIFFERENT Same benefits, different format. Salsa for Seniors returns this week Thursday 6th August, 2020 at Chiswick Community Hall at 10am.... There will be no partnerwork, no massage circles and no hello and goodbye hugs... (sniffle, sniffle). Good news is there will be lots of music, dancing, fun, laughter and positive energy shared. We'll be strictly adhering to our COVID-19 Safety Plan to maintain our high standards of service and care, ensuring your health and wellness as our number one priority. To comply with our Safety Plan, attendees need to book and pay (electronically) before start of term, so we have contactless everything. We'll also be sending a list of attendees to the venue operator and organising committee, in case the need to contact trace arises. (Fingers and toes crossed we won't need to) Due to limitation on numbers (complying with 1 person per 4 square metres); there are only a few spots left-- so if you want to do something fantastic for your physical and mental health, we recommend you book in asap, to avoid disappointment. We're so excited to be returning to share the power of music, movement, kindness, love and connectedness. Please message us if you have any questions or concerns. With love and gratitude Salsa for Seniors Team PLEASE REMEMBER to protect yourself and your community Do NOT attend classes if you have suspected or confirmed COVID-19 or are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever // coughing // sore/scratchy throat // shortness of breath // loss of smell or taste Leave the premises immediately if you develop symptoms or become ill, arrange testing for COVID-19 and stay at home until you are cleared to return.

16.01.2022 The health and wellness of our dancers is our number one priority; hence our decision w/c 16th March, 2020, that all our face to face classes will be suspended until the Corona Cloud has passed. It’s important for us to keep our community connected and moving, but it's also important that we confine ourselves to our homes to slow the spread of the virus. In such challenging times, we still need to keep our most vulnerable members of our community active and connected.... Movement is essential for us all; not only for our physical health but very importantly for our mental health. For this reason, we will be bringing you online classes so that we can move together and share stories together once more. We look forward to seeing you online soon and in the meantime, please stay safe, stay home and let’s all dance while we wash our hands! Sending you all so much love in these challenging times. The Salsa for Seniors Team
