There is also a fantastic range of benefits gained from this dance. Music and dance have been a part of many different cultures for centuries. It has always been a part of celebration, ritual, exercise, communication and pleasure and whether they knew it or not way back when the dancing began, the health benefits were, and still are enormous! Ben...efits from a Social perspective~ Latin Dance is a great way to develop new social relationships. In Latin America, Salsa Dancing is a massive part of the culture and its social life. Within an established class setting, if the group of students are always the same, a natural understanding develops over time. Based on the fact of exercising together people discover an instinctive way to communicate with body language. Dancing is actually a way to express feelings, emotions, personality, thoughts, and is consequently a very direct instrument to develop new friendships. If the group is harmonic, it often happens that people decide to go out together to a Salsa event or other places other than the regular classes. 11.01.2022 Dear devoted Salsa students, I hope you feel more rested after the long weekend and forced lockdown restrictions. Pls know that you are missed! Due to the continued restrictions for indoor exercise venues, including our Dance Studio, we are not permitted to operate this week up until midnight this Friday.... Therefore our classes for this week will extend by one week AND our end-of-month Social Suelta will indicatively run on Friday May 7th (from 7:30pm). We are hopeful to operate our In-Person Classes at BaiLatina Studio this Saturday upon the Premiers’ further advice on Friday afternoon. 10.01.2022 Valued Zumba students, Following the latest Govt advice interim restrictions will be in place until 12.01am, Tuesday 6 July. In addition to the safe distancing... rule and also wearing masks indoors, sadly our business is NOT not permitted to run any Group Classes (see attached advice). Pending health advice at the time, restrictions are expected to further ease for a transitional period until 12.01am, Monday 12 July ahead of a return to pre-lockdown life. This allows for the completion of the full 14-day incubation period. Therefore, we cannot run any Toning, Zumba or S&S classes until this restriction is lifted, with a hopeful return to normal on Monday July 12th Please note: I have pre-recorded a new Online Zumba Class (with our latest tracks) and will post the class link daily to my Fbk page.
