16.01.2022 In amongst all these boards we just had a rush trip to Rockhampton to celebrate the end of Schooling for our last school student. Campbell has studied through Distance Education for 13 years, he was diagnosed with Awesome Autism when he as 5. Last week he was awarded 3 Awards the most prestigious was the Principal’s Award. What a way to finish such a Long, sometimes challenging school life. To say that we are very proud Parents would be an understatement- this young Man has faced so many obstacles but keeps powering on, so forgive me for a little self indulgence and we as Parents are looking forward to what Life has in store for our Awesome Campbell.

11.01.2022 You wouldn’t know it but........ This is part of my FullTime Work, not actually driving the Tractor during planting, but providing back-up support for my menfolk and our workers on our properties as well as taking care of all Office work that comes with running cattle and grain properties. Life can be, and has been pretty hectic the last 18 months or so, with drought effecting our properties across the Maranoa. This past week, we have just finished our Winter plant of Wheat,... which has been planted on a wing and a prayer due to limited moisture - but you got to get in and have a go ...better trying to grow a crop than weeds - as my strong hearted man often tells me. Recently we have expanded to help drought proof our cattle properties, which has meant my Cheeseboards have been a little bit neglected, however I am looking forward to soon having extra time (and room) for my side hustle. Discovering my passion for colour expression on my Cheeseboards have helped me through the times when I have been home on the property while the menfolk have been away at the other properties during the drought. Throughout this time, I have been overjoyed with happiness and appreciation for those of you who have supported my little business.....the men in my life have many times shaken their heads as I give them updates on my orders and my Husband has enforced a rule of boards allowed everywhere but in our bedroom - when he has had to pick his way through creations scattered around the home.
