23.01.2022 Salt Ash Sporting Club Christmas Party and Presentation day Sunday 13th December kicking off at 10am. We will be starting with some fun ridden activities so dress in your best Christmas outfits.... Followed by lunch provided by us. Then after lunch we will have presentation and our AGM. And the best part is we will have the PBOZ truck and mechanical bull!!! As always, there will be covid forms to be filled out and we are strictly inviting immediate family only please. If everyone can please RSVP to this post or message us directly with exact numbers so we can cater for everyone. Thank you all so much for another great year and we're all looking forward to catching up at the 2020 Christmas party



23.01.2022 Good morning, unfortunately due to the current weather and potential for more rain and storms over the next 2 days the committee have had to cancel today and tomorrow's sporting days. Safety is our number one priority for everyone and also looking after our grounds. We will be seeking another weekend for potentially November to hold another double weekend, keep an eye out on our FB page for updates on this. Have a great weekend everyone!

We are donating $10 from every entry, all of your gold coins and the profit from the blue cupcakes sold over the weekend totalling $661.70 going to Dollys Dream. 20.01.2022 Guess what everyone!! We heard how disappointed our members are from missing the double weekend......... We have been able to lock in a new date for our double weekend (weather permitting), lock in the 7th and 8th November. We will continue to start later in the day on the Saturday with the camp out in the night and start at 9am on the Sunday. ... Hope to see our 2020 members there! Please keep an eye out on our FB page closer to the weekend for further information. Thanks Committee

19.01.2022 Our first date for this year will be Sunday 31st January PLEASE READ ALL BELOW However, things will be a little different this year due to covid. We are moving to online yearly regos and entry fees so we have less cash and paperwork handling. This means there will be no more entering on the day.... We will also have QR code so no more covid forms. Lunch orders will still require cash in an envelope with your order written on the front. These will be collected at the gate. Entries will open via Nominate.com later today and a link will be posted once it opens. You will need to join our club on nominate then enter the event for the 31st. 19.01.2022 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS SUNDAYS EVENT As a club, we are trying to keep our community safe and are implementing some tighter procedures that we introduced last year. Please keep an eye on our page for updates as the week goes on as there may be changes. Entries are now open on nominate for this Sundays competition day. ... * Please note, you cannot attend if; - If you have been in the greater Sydney/Central Coast areas in the last 2 weeks. - If you have any cold/flu symptoms or are generally feeling unwell. - You are not willing to sign in with our QR code or sign in with a paper form. - You are not willing to wear a mask if you are able to do so. * Everyone entering the grounds, over the age of 12, are required to wear a mask while not riding. * Everyone on the grounds are required to social distance and use handsaniter as needed. * We will have someone on the gate with our QR code, please ensure you add all dependents. * All jackpot and lunch order money will need to be in separate envelopes with name and details on it to be given to persons at the gate. * Please avoid the office/canteen areas unless necessary. * We are still planning on having a coffee van, please social distance while in line. * The grounds, as of yesterday, are still quite wet in some areas. 07.01.2022 Entries open tonight at midnight for our January 31st 2021 event. Go to Nominate to enter this event. For first time Nominate users you will need to make a Nominate account. Its free to do this. You will also need to be a member of Salt Ash Sporting Club. You can join SASC via Nominate once you have made your account. Then get your entries in! If you join as a family , every family member must be entered individually and pay as you go . You MUST hold a current 2020 membership to be vaild to attend tomorrows sporting day. NO non-members will be allowed entry. You MUST have completed our covid declaration form in full prior to being allowed entry. (Form attached in comments) Correct money for daily fee's and canteen orders are to be placed in an envelope with your name and age group listed. 01.01.2022 This is our 'Expectations of the rider' for our daily events at SASC 2021. Please take a minute to read. * Gates open at 7am. * Jackpot money will be taken at the gate. * Please order your lunch at the canteen. * Bring a horse that is suitable to your level of riding and is fit for your purpose.... * Ensure all tack is suitable and in working order. Check for wear, cracks, sharp edges before tacking up your horse. * wear comfortable clothing that is suited to riding, short or long sleeve shirts, no singlets. * only wear suitable horse riding boots. * Ensure your helmet meets the current Australian Standards and is within 5 years old. * Warm-up is only allowed on the sand and gravel arenas. Not on the events field. * Do not enter events unless it is your turn. * Non-competitive riders may practise on the previous event while their group is finishing the current event. However, they must not be in the way of the other groups. * Riders must not canter too, in between and away from events. * Riders must have full control of their horse at all times. * Any rider seen to be riding in a dangerous manner will be asked to dismount immediately. *Excessive use of artificial aids will not be tolerated. * Bullying, swearing and poor sportsmanship behaviour will not be tolerated. * No horse is to be loose in the grassed arena. * Any concerns, please email or message through messenger to the club.
