25.01.2022 Weve just scheduled a new round of cooking classes for October & November! We have the full selection back again, and amongst those usual delicious suspects we also have a Kids Class, Beer x Food class, and our new Fast Wholesome Delicious (Warm Weather) Class! We know weve been a bit booked out of late and there hasnt been many options for people to book into, so we thought wed schedule a little further ahead this time to provide more options. 23.01.2022 avocado, dark chocolate and chilli paletas These little sticks are a tad unlike their flavoured sugar syrup popsicle cousins; for these paleta think ripe avocado, banana, cocoa, coconut sugar and a hint of cinnamon and chilli, whipped into icy goodness; ooooooooh yeah! 14.01.2022 Hi peeps, just a quick update with regards to our upcoming classes and COVID-19 as the situation unfolds. In light of new social distancing recommendations from the Australian government, we have made the call to cancel classes as of 19th March through to 20th April (to start with). We have been getting in touch with all of our awesome customers booked into our public classes, in chronological order, and will continue to do so over the coming week. If you havent been contacted yet, please be assured that you will be as soon as possible, we really appreciate your patience during this time. We will continue to stay in touch with all of the Salt & Co extended family, keeping you posted on our progress over the coming weeks and months. 14.01.2022 Always a joy to get a delivery of farm fresh eggs from the Treeton Hill Farm family! @treeton_hill_farm These are some of the most delicious eggs one can get their hands on. Gavin says the secret lies in the custom feed they have made with a combination of locally grown, organic, non GMO grains along with a selection of immune boosting herbs, to avoid having to use antibiotics, as well as increasing flavour complexity. This special blend in combination with naturally foraged food from open pasture makes for happy, healthy hens and incredibly delicious eggs

10.01.2022 Zero waste means putting left over ingredients from last weeks cancelled Greek Mezedes class to good use, testing this bouyiourdi (baked feta paprika pepper pots) recipe, with some charred sourdough from @jeanclaudepatisserie on the side it is a winner! A nice little creative exercise to book-end a week full of COVID-19 admin. Time to get into the up and coming kitchen garden this weekend Stay safe and entertained peeps!

05.01.2022 Cooking classes at Salt & Co. are back open for private, corporate and public class bookings (hurraaaaay!!) Its been a tough couple of months for many small businesses out there, particularly for those like ours that are all about bringing our community together. That being said, we are incredibly proud of our community for unifying and yielding one of the best outcomes thus far in the face of a global pandemic. Only roti in various forms at this fine establishment run by two awesome local chaps. Soft and crisp and slightly chewy roti, always a delight to devour and these Sri Lankan renditions did not disappoint one bit! @ Unawatuna Beach, Sri Lanka
